Hinton hopes to revive UNC's Homecoming with new fee By Nick Andersen | The Daily Tar Heel Senior Cierra Hinton remembers when she attended N.C. Agricultural and Technical State University’s Homecoming football game during the fall of her senior year of high school. She can’t remember the team that the Aggies played, or even if they won, but she can remember the feeling on the university’s Greensboro campus. “It was a real family atmosphere,” Hinton said. “It was a great feeling of people coming home, a very exciting feeling for a student. That feeling made me want to go to A&T.”... Entire story: www.dailytarheel.com/index.php/article/2011/11/homecoming_folo_he

I don't think she ever attended. She was recalling our homecoming that she attended while a senior in HS.

It didn't say where she transferred from; just that she transferred to UNC her Soph. year.
But I digress...
I commend what she is trying to do but she has to completely understand that UNC AIN'T A&T AND WILL NEVER BE A&T. She has to embrace the UNC culture and coordinate activities that reflect that culture. I had to learn that during my time at Murray State.

From what i get it was from A&T to UNC. But your right WCA. She has to embrace the UNC culture to coordinate the proper activities at said school. It's just not going to fly. Maybe with the kids but not their parents or most alums.

Our shows are also managed and funded mostly through an outside promotion company. In this financial climate I dont know if UNC would be willing to match their dollar with a promoter. We have a proven relationship with our guy with over 20+ years of shows.
