Mike Mayhew 25 carries 115 yards two touchdowns long carry 66 yards, 4.6 yards per carry.
Take away the 66 yard touchdown run and you get 24 carries for 59 yards, which is around 2.46 per carry.
We got a dose of our own medicine on that one. I suspect every team we play from here on out will stop the run and take their chances on Kindle beating us.
more stats:
(3rd and 8) MCGHEE,Greg pass incomplete to ANDERSON,Charle, dropped pass, PENALTY NCAT personal foul (MARTIN,Isaiah) 15 yards to the NCAT44, 1ST DOWN HOW.
(3rd and 10) MCGHEE,Greg pass complete to FLANAGAN,Brando for 14 yards to the NCAT21, 1ST DOWN HOW (WEBB,Terrence).
(3rd and 8) MCGHEE,Greg pass complete to FLANAGAN,Brando for 15 yards to the NCAT8, 1ST DOWN HOW.
The few times we got them in 3rd and long, they got us. They played a good game and still had to go to overtime to beat us.

First half fumble through the end-zone really hurt. But, the team fought back and played hard. We have to eliminate major mistakes though.

It's being reported as 1 yard but it looked a little closer to a half yard. I guess it really does not matter right!!

it definitely was no more than a yard. it happened right in front of me where i was sitting. i don't know if anybody else noticed, but kindle remained down at that very spot on one knee with his head hanging in disappointment long after the aggie football team cleared the field. he never did move from that spot after the tackle was made. clearly he was devastated.
hail, i was devastated too! this is the first time i've come back online since that game ended. i was too depressed. but i'm still proud of the way our guys fought back and nearly pulled that game off...
