Nov. 11 @ Charlotte - Charlotte, NC (D-I) Nov. 13 Johnson - & Wales Durham, NC (D-III) Nov. 16 @ - Wagner Staten Island, NY (D-I) Nov. 20 @ - Wake Forest Winston-Salem, NC (D-I) Nov. 23 Morris College - Durham, NC (NAIA) Nov. 26 Barber-Scotia College - Durham, NC ? Nov. 29 Southern Wesleyan Univ. - Durham, NC (NAIA) Dec. 6 @ Eastern Kentucky - Richmond, KY (D-I) Dec. 11 @ NC State - Raleigh, NC (D-I) Dec. 20-22 Global Sports Showcase - Eugene, OR (D-I) (Oregon, Stephen F. Austin, Prairie View A&M) Dec. 29 @ East Carolina - Greenville, NC (D-I) Feb. 22 @ Indiana Bloomington, IN (D-I)
It appears Central has 7 money games (if you consider Wagner, E. KY and ECU), but other than NCSU, IU and Oregon are any of these significant paydays? How much is a UNC-C and ECU guarantee? I expected to see a heavier money game schedule for them. How are they raising money down there?

Barber-Scotia is putting a squad on-the-court??? That's a good sign! When I left Charlotte in 2006, they only had 92 students.

UNCC, NC State, Wake Forest, East Carolina and (definitely) Indiana all pay pretty good guarantees. I'm surprised that NCSU is even taking a chance with NCCU.

I would not consider (Wagner, E. KY) as money games. They are lower tear program just like A&T. Wagner & E. KY had to play in a few years ago!! Why wouldn't NCSU take a chance on NCCU it's a David vs Goliath game and people will come just to see if David wins are can keep it close. That's what Good Marketing can do !!! NCSU will make way more off this game then they will pay out!!

Let me put it this way (locally for you): If you were in-charge of a struggling TCU basketball program, would you take a chance on scheduling Bishop College or UT-Dallas and losing to them?

aggierattler: UT-Dallas, Bishop looked good last year!!! THEIR ARE NO CUPCAKES IN D-1 B-BALL. I just look at it this way, even going in you still have a 50-50 chance of winning or losing against another D-1 program. If they lose to NCCU then they are the better team that Day. 8-)We are all D-1 so the possibility is always their in D-1 ball . Now if NCCU where D-3/D-2 then that would be a Big Upset . But to me we belong at that level or we wouldn't have moved up to play at the D-1 level. And it is time we started thinking on that LEVEL . NCSU Struggling are not they put NCCU on their Schedule win are lose! A&T,NCCU and the other MEAC schools are all D-1 programs and we need to start THINKING THAT WE BELONG THEIR !!
