I think this is the first time in five years that the bye week has come up at the right time. Hopefully Warren, Mayhew and others will heal along with the mental healing of a beat down by App State. Our preseason is over and now we can start the real season. We got a real chance in the next 5 weeks to go 4-1,but we got take them one at a time.
I think the band will put a nice show since they will have two weeks off to prepare.

With the bye I have two options; Robert Morris at Morgan (1pm), and NSU at Howard (1pm). Both have a certain level of interest, but I probably end up at Greene.
Any takers for Elon at Central.

With the difference in spectrums of our first 2 games, this is probably the best time from a player and coaching perspective to have a bye. The coaches can hone in the best and the worst from both games. Those who attended the App game know that it really was not as bad as it seemed, until it did not matter. I think they have plenty to build upon. Key will be the ability to find another threat other than Miles. Miles runs his routes so hard, that anyone coming behind him will be pretty much wide open ( as in the 2 touchdowns to Lewis in the UVL game). App decided to single him, and he torched them. I love the way the coaches are moving him around, so you have to adjust your defense according to where he lines up. We have not had that kind ofh threat at the wide receiver position
