He caught a difficult possession throw a FD. and then dropped a sure fire TD that was pinpoint accurate, dead on the money near the two, and that 's why he's a backup. He has tools; just needs to put his brain into the game for 60 minutes.
We rotated freely. Coaches don't do that if their second line people are not capable as most of the starters except in maybe 4 or five key spots.
It's once we get past our number two guy, its a crap shoot at this point in the season. You can only develop bench help with playing experience and time. There are no short cuts to that end.
That's why I said, stay away from injuries and we will have everyone on their heels when they see us on the schedule. We catch the bug to any great degree, it will be rough.
We get out of this year in one piece and a good record and then get one really good recruiting class for our lines (three have already committed) and a top QB prospect to give us some real insurance behind Kindle......like Broadway said, you better get us this year.

Hopefully we can get a better look at the 3 and 4's before we hit the MEAC game's . I know if we play APP state close that will not happen. But if it's out of hand I would hope that Broadway will pull the starters and let the B-up's have a go at it.

I would love to see Coles with a head of Steam during a screen play. The Brother just looks bigger than everyone else.

it seemed to me that we only had about 60 guys in uniform this weekend. our numbers really looked down to me. mayhew going down really is bad news. overall, i just don't think we have high quality depth and key injuries are one of my biggest worries...

True that Oldschoolaggie: The test will be the next two games. If we can stay injury free going into the MEAC part of the season we just may surprise some people. It would be in A&T's best to play more of the back-ups the next two games so that they can get some game experience going in to the MEAC season

Yep. I just wont us to be health when we go into the MEAC games . I would like a Competitive game but not at a cost. We can not afford any injures at this point going into the MEAC.

To hell with all of the cautiousness. App State is FCS just like us. Play the damn game to win!
