Attendance 11,659. I'd say the Game Zone was a non-factor. A few years ago when we played JC Smith we had 12,000.

I was there.
Kindle looked good! He must not take sacks nor get stripped. He throws to a spot and the balls were right there! My heart drops whenever he runs...Please Slide! He throws a beautiful ball!
Mayhew would have had a tough day because of the fumbles, that brother put a little 'hotsauce' on his ankle it looked like. I shook my head. His backup got a lot of work and finally got rolling behind the O line in the 4th. The brothers really got their Push on when run-blocking to the tune of about 4-6 yrds a clip.
I did not see a lot of mental errors. Nor did i see any timeouts because of confusion.
Our linebackers are fast and seem to like the calls. They sent people, covered well, and The D overall held up after of being pinned back for most of the 1st half. The almost had a shut-out.
Our special teams may carry us. The showed some rust but also showed some flashes.
I sat near the Fresh. FG kicker's( Comacho's) family. He missed an attempt that i saw, but he is not afraid of it. His family went and brought A&T gear..
The B&GMM blasted. Now if they wanted to start a wave they could go away for the reserved, and it may stay afloat now. That Bend' in the stadium is going to be hot one day! They can party in peace!
App State will be mad, but who cares! We showed discipline except for the celebration flag, those brothers got coached up quick!
Funky B' lit a fire under this team at the half....night & day!
The crowd was small! Man labor Day has fallen off! We have got to get Somebody Back to Aggie Stadium.
FanZone-..sheesh.. they may as well put up some inflatables for the kiddies if they want someone to hang out because everyone went into the game that I saw...i mean there were some people tailgating but sheesh..... If you buy a tkt, then you are going in!
Its a new Day!

Dang, do we not have an official social media dept, a FB page/Twitter account or something?! We want folks to give their hard earned money, but cant put the little things in place first to generate interest.. Its not hard, all we've gotta do is follow what the big schools have been doing for years.. I know it won't go on for the away games but for the home games you can follow @ncat_aig on twitter. He was up dating the whole game, although he doesn't say how we scored or who scored, at least you'll be up to date with whats going on

The final Official Stat Sheet from Today: www.ncataggies.com/SportSelect.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=24500&SPID=74503&SPSID=593293Kindle went 14-23, 341 yards, 4 TDs passing and one rushing, and no interceptions. Wallace Miles, 7 catches, 152 yards 1 TD Ricky Lewis, 3 catches, 100 yds, 2 TDs Larry Raper 1 catch, 65yds, I TD Four other receivers with a catch apiece. Mike Mayhew, 8 carries, 60 yards (ankle) Chauncey Burgess, 13 carries, 50 yards Total Team Stats N.C. A&T StatsN.C.A&T Total Offense- 431 yds; Rushing 38-90 yds Passing 14-23, 341 yds 17 first Downs, penalties 8-75, 7-6 fumbles Third Down conversions: 5-10 Time of possession - 23:59 VUL StatsVUL - 80 yards total offense Rushing - 35 (-16 yds) passing - 12-13, 96 yds Third Down conversions:4/16; penalties 17-116, Fumbles 8-3 Time of possession 33:01 I am a little disappointed by the passing stats for VUL. That completion % is too high for my liking. We also had too many penalties but it's the first week. If we want any chance to beat App. State, we have to keep penalties to a min.

I thought it was a good win for 1st game. I think we may a problem with our corners this year , our LB look good and there was some push from the DL does anyone know who # 88 is a huge DL . Young look good and the DL name Smith had a good game. I like our LB. Grant from charlotte looks like a player and Hoover and Binder really brought it today. I like the RB Burgess but Coles needs to be a tight end or see the bench he has no heart and seems to be very lazy. This team will score some points but Mr.Mayhew, Miles and Ricky Lewis will carry this team behind Kindle this year. Once we get our numbers up AGGIE FOOTBALL WILL BE BACK......

That passing stat for VUL is incorrect. I think it was actually 12-23 for 96 yards.

The only consolation about the secondary play is we have 11 guys listed on the roster at that position. We can keep tweaking things to get better.

There is no way there were 11,000 people in that stadium.

When I arrived, VULs guys were warming up and I was impressed with their size. I didn’t realize their linemen were still in the locker room. When those big dudes came strutting out I was thinking to myself “what in the L have we gotten into”. Lucky for us they haven’t been practicing together for long. Kendall was very accurate. I didn’t notice the happy feet he displayed in his Freshman debut. He needs to stay healthy. VUL had some “players” at linebacker, effectively containing our running game for the most part. Fortunately, it appeared their DC didn’t account for the forward pass in their gameplan. Heck, I can’t even remember the last time we threw the ball so much. Ty Pizzo. Chauncy Burgess seemed to be just on the edge of breaking a big run. I was ticked that we turned the ball over 6 times. Funky B probably didn’t like that crap also. It's gonna get funky for the offense this week. Our football players appear toned and conditioned. I never noticed the defense getting tired even though they spent a lot of time on the field. Didn’t see anyone doubled over trying to catch their breath. The corner of the stadium horseshoe makes a natural amphitheater where the band can put on quite show for a crowd. The way they enter the stands is now impressive and pride inspiring. Moving the band was an excellent idea. They showed out. There showl were a lot of happy folk after the game.

There is no way there were 11,000 people in that stadium. I agree It looked exactly the same as it did a few years ago when we played JCSU. When Thrilla asked me about the attendance I think I guesstimated 9 or 10,000 so 11,556 is totally beleivable. Regardless, I think it was a decent showing for an opponent none of us had ever heard of before.
