Interesting. I spoke to Tabb several times when he was in high school here in Raleigh. I respected his decision to stay public school when all the "churches" were after him. This doesnt sound like him at all, but I guess you never know how a kid changes as they get older.
On his game - He never really improved it from his freshman year. He was a 6'5" freshman with limited range and nice speed and hops. My first thought was "This kid is going to be nasty". He became a bulky 6'9" with a little bit more muscle in his game but lost his explosiveness to the basket. I envisioned him dunking on kats all the time by his senior year after seeing him as a freshman, but it never really happened. While still a good player, that extra weight seemed to lessen his mobility.
P.S. - I saw Thomas Coleman at Myrtle Beach last weekend with a Charlotte Bobcats hat on. Did he make the cut?

ya can never tell why kids get suspended from college teams. no telling what rules they could've broken. sometimes its not always as bad as it seems.
i noted in your other post that the players are currently locked out. so coleman currently can't sign with any nba team until the lockout is over (if he's fortunate enough to make it)...
