I went on line this morning and signed up for the monthly recurring deduction. When you really look at it from a practical standpoint its only the equivalent of a dinner for two or a day at Chucky Cheese with your grand kids.
A $50 dollar donation once per month equals a top end donation of $650 a year and it doesn't hits a hole in your check book at one time so you never miss it nor will it put you in a bind financially lon term.
As I have said in several blogs in years past in the early 2000's on this site if 4,000 hard core Aggies would just give $25 per month, we could generate over a $1.25 million in new income for A&T athletics in just the first year.
This is really a small price to pay if you want to see A&T sports really progress quickly. We don't have a handful of million dollar bank rollers like s lot of PWCs but we do have plenty of numbers of black middle class fans.
Time to stop all the whining and complaining about what we don't have and sign up today for the Aggie Athletic Foundation and make a real difference overnight.
Join the AFF!!!!

I did a similar thing yesterday, though a little more difficult transaction, because I was modifying an existing bank draft to include the AAF as a designation. I called asked the question via voice message, got a call back with within 15mins to confirm what I was trying to do. That person said OK, I’ll confirm the process with so-and-so. 15 mins later so-and-so called back, and the change was handled. So, we will see what happens with the first draft, “the proof is in the pudding”. That monthly deduction is a whole lot easier than that lump sum that would go to the Aggie Club every year another positive customer service experience.
I'm sure the "Giving to A&T" button on the home page is the link for giving.

I've got a bone to pick already. It looks like the same level of giving no longer gets you the same benefits as last season. Last year a $1000.00 donation would get you access rights to 6 season tickets, VIP Tent Pass and a Parking Pass for Sullivan Street. Now ya gotta pay $1,200 to get the same deal. I don't mind that but why in the hell couldn't a pricing change have been communicated sooner?

Because we don't communicate well. Hopefully that will be fixed at some point.

The irony is they've already allowed me to purchase my 6 priority season tickets back in April.

i personally prefer the once a year lump sum form of donating. mainly because i don't like being "automatically locked in" to paying anybody anything, including my creditors. and, i can better control my option to increase or decrease my payments that way.
normally, i earmark a portion of my tax refund every year to go to aggie athletics. so every year when i receive my tax refunds, i know its time to make a donation...

Well...I just set up a payment schedule and the best part is my company matches my gift 1:1....in other words, I get the benefits of $1200 donation for just $600....#excited.

You can imagine the potential uproar if they went forth with new donor levels this late in the game.
