I attend the meet and greet with Coach Broadway Charlotte stop. It was a decent crowd with AD Hinton in attendence. Coach spoke own a few issues, he address our APR Issue and how it effects the program at this time. Coach spoke own once this is fix our football program will be find but it will not happen over night. Other Issues that he spoke own.
1. There will be at least 5-7 transfers coming into the program 2. There will be at least two freshman QB added to the team, with Ricky Lewis playing some QB as well. 3. The QB at Grambling Carrothers will playing for WSSU this year. 4. A few players are know longer with the program Major Bryant, CJ Frederick and DL from Hillside( His name slip my mind) I Know we have the right Coach now its going to take some time. on side note Hinton stated that Clemson will be coming to Greensboro this year to play the women go Coach Bibbs........

Could the DL from Hillside be Eric Young? Yes, he and Bryant went to Oak Ridge Academy last season to get qualified. CJ was a Prop that was in school last fall and spring. Eric Young is now going to Hinds Community College in Mississippi and I have no idea where Bryant will land.

man, i was really hoping he'd be in an aggie uniform this season. with both him and mayhew in the backfield, i figured we'd have one of the top offenses in the meac. without him, we'll still be pretty good offensively but i don't think we'll be one of the meac's best. the freshman running back recruit from ohio looked pretty decent on video, but he's no cj frederick. yet, i think he could contribute as a true freshman...

Did you forget about Dominique Drake and walk-on Chauncey Burgess who looked good in the spring. We also have Tony Coles and larry Raper at RB.

We also have Tony Coles and larry Raper at RB. i'm not a big drake fan, per se'. at least not yet. hopefully he'll open my eyes this season. i thought he had an "ok" season last year. but i felt like donte payne had a much better season 2 years ago when he was a true freshman. hated to see him leave. we'd really have a potent 1 - 2 punch by now if he was still in the backfield with mayhew. i wonder where he wound up? i thought there were rumors that he was transferring to famu. but last year the famu folk said they hadn't seen any signs of him. i don't know much at all about burgess. so i really can't comment on him. i think coles has potential, i'm not sure that last year's staff used him enough at running back. and raper, i've got to believe his shoulder injury impaired his productivity most of last year. if so, and he runs more physical, he could definitely offset the lost of frederick. normally, if a kid is gonna blossom at all, he does so in his junior year. so this could be a "big" year for raper, he certainly has the potential. and with 4.24 speed in the 40, clearly he can be a homerun hitter. i just hope he steps it up this year and live up to expectations. he's the one cat on the team that has the potential to make me forget all about frederick...
