Tendler (5-11, 181, Wilmington, N.C.) was named N.C. A&Tâs Freshman Male Athlete of the Year in April. He joins pitcher John Primus, outfielders Jeremy Jones and C.J. Beatty and first baseman Kelvin Freeman as Aggies who have earned Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American honors in the last five seasons. Tendler led the Aggies in hitting, doubles and triples.
