Southeast Guilford seniors Colby Keene and Dillon Barker signed national letters of intent today to play baseball at N.C. A&T. Keene, a catcher, batted .344 with eight doubles, two homers and 26 RBIs as the Falcons advanced to the 4-A West Regional championship series. He may play third base or outfield in college. www.news-record.com/blog/55665/entry/120832

That's what I was gonna ask! Shumate was recruiting them. Maybe Shumate and the assistant coach convinced the kids to sign anyway. ..... You know, tell the kids to sign for the school and not the coach.
