It doesn't matter who we play if it rains...see the Aggie-Eagle Classics in Raleigh. Our folk don't sit in the rain to watch us play...plain and simple. I predict between 7,500 - 9,000 folk there.

when i was a freshman, i'd never heard of virginia union before, That's why I asked if you are kidding? oh, okay. but no, i wasn't kidding. i had never heard of virginia union back then. i also had never heard of st. paul's or coppin state at that time either. you've got to remember that in the 70's there was no internet and cable tv had just been launched with only about 20 to 30 channels. so unless you were directly affiliated with hbcu's, it wasn't easy to learn about the smaller hbcu's in those days. they didn't make headlines in the local newspapers except where the hbcu was located. but of course i knew of all of the major d1 pwc's because they were on tv all of the time...

I aint going to front. I came to A&T in 93, just before the internet got going. I was a CIAA baby, so I knew about all them and all the NC collleges, etc. But I had never heard of Coppin State, Delaware State, Morgan State, or Bethune Cookman. And I mean AT ALL, not one mention.

I believe ya Aggie Monster & Oleschoolaggie. One of the reasons is a lot of HBCU graduates and High schools never take the time to push the HBCU schools. Even now we have to go to the internet to get information on hbcu schools. But what is funny to me is, I have had white kids ask me about the Howard , Famu, A & T, and a lot of other Hbcu schools. To be honest I have helped many of then get athlete scholarships to hbcu schools and they are loving it. It's funny to see a white student from PVU crack on on black and white students from other schools about their Bands and football teams but most of all they love and feel the hbcu experience.
