Dr. Edna Johnson Ragins, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Marketing, Transportation, and Supply Chain, at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (A & T), died on Monday, May 9, at her home in Greensboro, NC after a serious illness.

She was loved by all who knew her, and her zest for life was as infectious as her quick wit and joyous laughter. Edna has a wide circle of loving, devoted friends.
Edna was born on the campus of Prairie View State University where her father began his teaching career. She is survived by her loving family which includes her father, two sisters, two nieces, two nephews, great-nephew and great- niece, numerous cousins, and a host of other relatives.

WOW!!!!
REST IN PEACE Dr. Ragins..... I am so sorry to hear this......She was truly a classy person. Her face was one of the first faces I saw and came in contact with when I first started in the School of Business & Economics at A&T along with her secretary who also passed before I graduated.

As one of her former students and Marketing Grad, this information really saddens me. Dr. Ragins was one of my professional references and a down to earth Professor who took a great interest in the success of her students outside of the classroom. Even years after graduating, She was always warm hearted, welcoming and easy to talk to - personally and professionally.
I will greatly miss my association with her in the Business School.
