I definitely see y'alls point. I'm just wondering how many will say "enough is enough" and how will that effect us in the future. I guess we'll find out... I bet on seeing a bunch of grills in the parking lots by Smith Hall and the Union.

Yea you right Decks its all about that bottom line. Forget the fellowship, low income folks ,rich heritage and the Pride that we bring to the institution. The fellowship doesn't change, in fact I can come over to your spot and bring Aggiejazz and Bigboy. The so-called "low income folks", where did that come from? What is your point here? Nothing changes for rich heritage and the Pride that we bring to the institution. He will just have paying moochers like me stopping by now to enhance the rich heritage.

The public release did not state the price of a Game Zone ticket and the link above to purchase a ticket is useless at this moment. Why make this announcement of what amounts to a big cultural change if you don't have all of the facts like the price of the new ticket

That link did have the 2011 Home Football Schedule with those prices. And I do agree that the press release should have had ticket prices.

The point of confusion in my mind is the term "Game Zone Ticket" used in the press release. Nothing clarifies whether a "Game Zone Ticket" is the same as a "Game Day Ticket".

Dex I get the economy side of it. But we ain't winning sheeet yet JACK. We will do good to win 3 games this year and you asking oh by way pay $25-$35 person. We act like we got going on and we really don't.
But I am willing to meet you have way Dex. If you going to charge I am willing to bet you if the charge was only $5 or by the price of a ticket will get you in the taligate you would make more revenue vs charging $25-$35 per person especially at homecoming.
I have more of a problem with the greed why price yourself out.

And who's bright idea was that OK...what would be your suggestion?? Just throwing open the gates and saying, "Y'all come!!" or what? You can have a Fan Zone , but how about bringing in the people who actually own spots to have a say so. How about not overpricing the idea? How about informing people not thru a letter but have info sessions so people can ask questions on the spot.

It seems very simple to me! If you have a ticket to the game you can enter the Fan Zone and the game if you choose to. If you don't have a ticket to the game or do not wish to buy one then you do not get to enter the Fan Zone. Some schools charge a fee to get into the Fan Zone without having to buy a game ticket to enter. They just enjoy the Fan Zone without having to buy a game ticket, that way you still generate money without forcing people to buy game tickets.
