This was front page above the fold. I said 'there they go again (the paper)' to my self. But now I see it as rare free advertising for a local promoter around here.

DURHAM -- The fiercest basketball rivalry along Tobacco Road?
Duke and UNC fans can't stand one other.
But what happens on the court stays on the court.
Like during the 1989 ACC Tournament when Duke and UNC went at it in The Omni in Atlanta. UNC won 77-74 after Tar Heels and Blue Devils beat the living daylights out of each other. There were 49 fouls called in that game, and the referees had to keep separating the players.
Yet what happened on the court stayed on the court.
That wasn't how it went a year later when the N.C. Central Eagles went to Greensboro to play the N.C. A&T Aggies.
Uh, the fiercest rivalry along Tobacco Road?
