Aggies Release 2011 Football Schedule Courtesy: NC A&T Sports Information Release: 03/28/2011 Share | Courtesy: NC A&T Sports Information
Wallace Miles (right) and Torrian Warren (left) were the Aggies top two receivers in 2010. GREENSBORO, March 28, 2011 - Rod Broadway's first game as the head football coach at North Carolina A&T will occur on Saturday, September 3, 2011 when the Aggies take on St. Paul's College at Aggie Stadium. N.C. A&T's 2011 football schedule features five home and six away dates.
N.C. A&T fans will get their first glimpse of the Aggies on Saturday, April 9 as the Aggies play in the annual Spring Game at 1 p.m., from Aggie Stadium.
After the Spring Game and the contest versus the Tigers, the Aggies head to Boone, N.C., on Sept. 10 to face Appalachian State. The Mountaineers won three straight Division I-FCS National Championships from 2005-07. They have also won the Southern Conference six straight seasons.
Coastal Carolina highlights an exciting home schedule as the Chanticleers return to Aggie Stadium on Sept. 24. The two teams faced each other in 2008 and 2009 with Coastal Carolina winning both times. Bethune-Cookman comes to Greensboro on Oct. 8 before the Greatest Homecoming on Earth comes back to Aggieland on Oct. 15. The historic rivalry between N.C. A&T and N.C. Central moves to the final game of the season with the two teams clashing at Aggie Stadium on Nov. 19.
The Aggies remaining five road games include a stretch of four straight conference games. N.C. A&T plays Howard, Norfolk State, Florida A&M and S.C. State away from home Oct. 22-Nov. 12. The Aggies other road game is against Morgan State on Oct. 1. Game times and dates are subject to change.

It really makes no sense to swap out St Paul for WSSU. I realize there was issues going on that the two schools did not agree but something should have been worked out then for us to settle for St Paul. No disrespect to St. Paul.

Does everyone like the idea of the 4PM kickoff time for St Paul and Coastal Carolina? It can go both ways.

for those of us that work retail 9 to 6 saturdays this is difficult and given the 2 home games back to back, bcc and del state, to get off on 2 saturdays in a row. plus leave early for the 4pm games together . why have lights ?

i would've preferred a night game, maybe a 6pm or 7pm kickoff. but a 4pm kickoff is a heck of a lot better than 1pm kickoff. the game will probably end at or just before dark. maybe they're trying to save the cost of outdoor lighting...

- I'm thinking the games that started at 6:00 pm (last year) ended too late for some influential folk. I’m also thinking the 4:00 pm start might bring in more day trippers and perhaps a few more of those Coastal Carolina folk. You feel me?
- Even with a 4:00 pm start, we will still need the lights by the end of the game. They will get some use.
- Howard & NSU aren't bad road trips. They are just up the street and plenty of Aggies will be around. FAMU & SC State...yeah, that will hurt.
- On the bright side, perhaps this means we will have 3 or 4 straight home games next year.

i know i'm an aggie optimist, but if we can just find a way to plug up the defensive middle and add a little depth in a few key areas, i believe we can surprise some folk this season. it appears there's been no mass exodus of players which means we'll have a good number of starters returning this season. our offense will be "loaded" if kindle stays healthy and frederick keeps those grades up.
we just need to "tweak" a few areas and i think we'll be okay this season. based on what i've read about the coaches, it appears we have a much more "experienced" staff than in the recent pass. and my gut tells me pizzo will offensively keep the entire meac off balance if he has all of his weapons at his disposal.
we just need to plug up that d-line and i honestly think we'll knock off a few meac squads for the first time in several years...
