I don't agree with the reason that you stated that the MEAC moved but I won't get into that. As far as the Greensboro Coliseum not hosting the MEAC tournamant, hell, they make a ton more money hosting the ACC. You can't blame them for that. The MEAC has been played in so many different cities I can't remember all of them. I personally feel that the Tidewater area would be the best place to host the MEAC. Harvey's backyard!!!!!

I can't necessarily blame the GSO Coliseum for that, either. I was merely pointing out that we didn't just JUMP UP & HAUL AZZ...we were forced into leaving.

I still cant believe Winston won it over the Tide Water area this last round of negotiations. The tourney has had some of it's worst attendance in Virginia. At least it's improved in NC.

Ive watched several tournaments around out same size play Tourney week on a host campus and the weekend finals in the City Arena/Coliseum. We need to come to our senses and do the same and if we really wanted to stay in GSO we would have proposed that notion back in the day.
Wasting money on account of Pride.
