I'm still having a hard time with that one. How do you give up that many yards rushing in one game?

The blockers were tougher than the defenders. Every time the ball was snapped we got beat.

They run a very efficient offense, and they have incredible speed at those skill positions. It will be interesting to see how they match up with better teams in the playoffs.

Oh yeah, I also thought that I would add that just last week NCCU only gave up 143 yards rushing to BCU.

Every quarterback they had ran over our linebackers like they were rag dolls.
Man, this was the most embarrassing thing I have witnessed in a long time.

We have back up defensive lineman starting for us on the D-line. That's how you get 500 yard rushing hung on you. Lee needs some big, mean, physical uglies in the trenches on defense. You will be surprised how much that will help the defense...that way the linebackers can flow to the ball. They can't get off those offensive lineman b/c none of our defensive lineman require a double team. None of them. Not even some of the time. That makes a huge difference.

It really wasn't a surprise that we gave up so many yards. Going into the game they were first in the conference averaging 243 yards a game on the ground and we were last in rushing defense giving up 217 yards a game.
That's called a recipe for disaster...

Coach Lee took over this program in January of 2009, so even if we as fans were fooled by some of the success of the 2009, Coach Lee shouldn't have been fooled about what he had left over after the 2009 season. Maybe Coach Lee tried to make some moves and it didn't happened. I don't know how he is going to make drastic moves with the Chancellor's mandate of recruiting players who are better prepared in academics.

I'm more disappointed that we gave up 200+ yds in the first quarter!

They want- at least they want get 400+ yards rushing in a game in the playoffs. You got to think that teams that make it to the playoffs will play better defense than us- tackle better, control gaps and make proper reads.
