I was looking at possible realignment for 2011 football and to be in division with FAMU, Bethune Cookman, and SCSU is going to be real tough. I think next year we can beat all of the team from the Northern Divison

i ain't making no predictions until i know for sure who's coming back, who will be eligible to play, and what kind of recruiting class we'll have in february. until then, anything can happen. heck, anything has already happened. no more "premature" predictions from me, i learned my lesson. so it'll probably be late next august before i'm comfortable enough to "intelligently" predict what kind of season we'll have...

Will NCCU be in north or south division? Anyone know yet? According to a memo from the MEAC Office back in 2009, when divisional play is established for football, A&T (Savannah State and WSSU) would be in the Southern Division and NCCU would be in the Northern Division. In men's and women's basketball, NCCU would slide down into the Southern Division, and UMES and Coppin State would be in the Northern Division. Now that WSSU is gone, I don't know what the damn plan is.

Hope they would be smart enough to keep all rival games, even with teams in different divisions.
With WSSU gone they might as well put 5 North and 6 South with NCCU in the South. That way the 2 basketball only schools can make it 7-north and 6-south for basketball. Never know.

How many significant cross divisional rivalries are there??? i don't know, but looking at aggierattler's football only divisions, i would think we'd be guaranteed a "home-in-home" every year against nccu and howard if those divisions were for basketball. in football, we should be guaranteed a game against those two schools every year...

How many significant cross divisional rivalries are there??? Long as they put NCCU in the South there wouldn't really be any cross divisional rivalries.
