*309 yards vs MSU *379 yards vs DSU *438 yards vs Howard
If we could stop it with the friggin fumbles we'd probably have two more victories.

The O-line has played very well during this stretch and Mayhew always runs hard.
Hines is now a game changer who allows us to utilize every weapon in our arsenal. We still are pretty bad on first down and our red zone play calling leaves a lot to be desired, but as long as Hines is in the game we have a legitimate chance to score points.
I think these last three games will determine if Chennis Berry retains his offensive coordinator title next season.

ROFL, Thrilla I was saving the "Red Zone Playcalling" for later because I didn't want to be accused of always hating on Berry. But did you see the 1st and goal, Webb had only been in the game for 1 play and he called a pass? It was almost a disaster! Its like this guy has a "look what I can do" mentality instead of play calling for the situation. The jury is still out for me because it was Howard. Their defense looked horrible. And is horrible.

Howard has the worst secondary I have seen in quite some time. Their DBs acted like it was against the rules to make a play on the ball once it was in the air.
However, that didn't have anything to do with George Hines putting the football exactly where it needed to be ... and on time.
There were several plays Saturday when the ball had already left Hines' hand before the receiver had even turned back to look for it. That is the kind of stuff only real QBs can do.

Well I think we will have answers to all our questions on Thursday night. Of all the positions on a team I will go as far to say that we have a top knotch receiving core; that unit is deep and they can get open. And Hines knows how to progess to the tight end if there is nothing down field.
I did find it interesting that Hines said the game is actually easier than practice.

The question for the remainder of the season, will we have to match our opponents point for point in order to win?? Our opponents can score, and our defensive line has a difficult time stopping the run and penetrating. Hines is playing as well as any qb we've had in years. Hopefully, he continues to put A&T in a position to win, but he will be facing tougher defensive opponents and ones that can score. Will Lee have his defensive and offensive units ready for the challenge??

Hey, do yall realize we haven't beaten SCSU since 2000? 10 years....just a little fun fact for us to think about. It was Howard, a team that's only victory has come against Lincoln University. Let me see Hines make it thru a game first
