This season, Patricia Cage-Bibbs led the A&T women's basketball program to the greatest season in school history. After winning their third consecutive MEAC regular season title, the Lady Aggies became the first Division I HBCU to win two postseason games when they knocked off Wake Forest and Charlotte in the WNIT. In honor of this historic achievement, Coach Bibbs has now been nominated for the prestigious Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN) Coach of the Year award. This award in determined solely by online voting, so let's unite as Aggies and make sure Coach Bibbs receives the national recognition she deserves. The voting process runs from April 1, 2010 to April 5, 2010. (The polls are located on the lower lefthand side of the hsrn.com home page.) You can cast your vote for Coach Bibbs here: www.hsrn.com/Please vote for Coach Bibbs as frequently as you can and ask your friends, family and co-workers to do the same. Aggie Pride!

That means somebody needs to go to a computer lab or library and get busy.

As of 2:45 pm, We're getting our butts kicked by BCU. The lead has stretched to over 600 votes. Explain that. Let's get with it!
NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR - Div. I Women Vanessa Inge - Bethune Cookman 1655 59.5% Pat Bibbs - NC A&T 1016 36.5% Donnita Rogers - Grambling 112 4%

There are not 1,655 people alive who even care about BCU women's basketball.
Somebody is hacking that website.

BTW: You can actually vote more than one time a day from the same computer.
You just have to wait a few minutes, leave that page, and come back to it.
I have voted about 5 times in the last 30 minutes.

Something strange is definitely going on. No other category has even a quarter of the votes that the Division I womens coach of the year poll is currently receiving.
I can not believe that many people even know who the BCU coach is ... let alone fell compelled to vote for her.

WBB, Track and Field, Baseball, Softball, and Football. Aggies are once again energized with their sports program and their performances this past season and looking for bigger things in 2010-11.
Now if only men's BB would get on board the train because its leaving in a hurry.
