I love my Lady Aggies, granted every team experiences times like these. But I believe whoever gets faced with the Lady Aggies in the WNIT will better be ready to scrap AGGIE PRIDE!

there's a lot of pride in that lady aggie locker room. but could we be witnessing a changing of the guard? i mean, hampton really took us apart at their place, they are "lightening" quick! and they only have 1 senior and 3 juniors on the team. the rest are freshmen and sophomores. they beat us by 10 points at their place, but it really wasn't as close as the final score indicated. we were down double digits for most of the 2nd half. nonetheless, the brackets for the wnit will be completed tonight and will be posted on the internet ( www.womensnit.com/). sure would like to see the lady aggies close out the season on a positive note. the wnit gives us an opportunity to do just that...

Wow oleschool. Your honesty is refreshing.
The ladies have had a great run, but there were some reasons for serious concerns this this year. One of which was internal strife at times. Furthermore, over the last 3 years, the ladies have just out-talented people. Period. The same 1 or 2 sets were run every single game, with the exception of the attempt to run a facet of the triangle at the beginning of this season. We just had more heat. Hampton just figured it out.
I don't know if I'm ready to say it's a changing of the guard just yet. I saw a Murray signing in Greenville (regionals) and she's the real deal. If Amber and Berry continue to get better and some of the new recruits pan out, they might be able to out talent the league some more. I think it would be responsible, however, for the fan base to realize that BTJ, Bland, and Tweet aint coming through that door any more.
But I'm like you oleschool, I am really looking forward to see what the performance will be like in the WNIT!

But I'm like you oleschool, I am really looking forward to see what the performance will be like in the WNIT! aahhbigboy, obviously, i'm biased when it comes to aggie athletics and i have no problem admitting that. but i try to be as objective as i can. lady aggie basketball is my pride and joy, but i honestly try to call it the way i see it and not the way i want to see it. i'm not close enough to the team to see day to day relations internally. but obviously something went wrong towards the end of the season. we loss 3 of our last 7 meac games! and for a bibbs coached lady aggies team, that's virtually unheard of! so you may be onto something, i don't know. but i sure hope we can get it back together. over the last 3 years, i have never seen another meac team literally rip us apart like hampton did. even when coppin state had the dynamic duo, rashida suber and shalamar oakley, they didn't do it. again, i'm just being objective and honest. hampton's guards were getting to the cup off the dribble "at will" against us. our guards looked like they had lead in their shoes. we simply couldn't keep hampton's guards in front of us! our ladies need to find that hunger and intensity again because it was really lacking towards the end of the season...

I am pleased to say the least with the lady aggies; I am glad we have Bibbs on our side. I hope I get a chance to tell her one day what a good job she is doing with our program.

I hope I get a chance to tell her one day what a good job she is doing with our program. a good way to talk to her is to make a donation to her program. she'll give you a personal phone call and then you can make your feelings known...
