I think, just like the Lee hiring, the process to extend Eaves' contract could have been handled a lot better by our administrators.
They still don't have any mention of the contract extension on ncataggies.com and the offical release is basically hidden on an interior page of ncat.edu.
Why have a press release about a coach's contract extension on the main school site but not have the same exact press release posted prominently on the athletics site?
All you would have to do is cut and paste, right?
It just seems like our school officials were trying to sneak this move by the fans without offering any serious explanation.

www2.journalnow.com/content/2010/mar/11/bad-day-for-nc-at/I was trying to figure out the "quote" that Bozeman was talking about....now I know. It's easy to talk that junk after you beat a teams behind. I didn't know Bozeman was like that. Well perhaps this will give Eaves more incentive to beat Morgan. Oh, and Eaves should keep future team inspirational messages inside the locker room.

I agree with oleschoolaggie, players are made during the summer. Instead of bringing in JUCO players who maybe more mature physically and mentally, your also possibly bringing alot of baggag. Programs are successfull when they develope what they have. I believe the Aggies can be very good next year. Witter, Powell need to hit the weight room this summer. Coelman and Upchurch t polish up on post moves. Our guards are experienced with with Hill, and Simpson. Smith and Buck are awesome atheletes that can work on their shot this summer. The problems that Eaves has are very minor, compared to just working with them now, his summer, and preseason. Also, we do have talented Freshman coming. I beleive that Eaves would make a mistake by bringing in JUCO's. You can't fill your roster with JUCOs, but some of the best players in this conference have traditionally been transfers and JUCO players. There's only so much that Eaves can do over the summer. Look who he has on his bench to sell an HBCU!!!!That means that Eaves has to be on the road. And that is why the players don't develop. And D-1 transfers and JUCO players usually are a little more developed if you get the right ones. That list that Thrilla laid out won't work. He has to get more Rushs and Jones. Even with that being said, his style nixes it all. It's like what bigboy said, you have to just get used to it. Eaves is here to stay.
