I may not make this game. I wanted to clap for the Seniors and see Deloach (senior). I thought that he would be the leading scorer in the league but Reggie Holmes has him beat. I think that he will go to the 'D League'.
Thurs Nite, he may try to get 50 & the scoring title. However Eaves seems to always slow him down. This should be interesting.

I think everybody is mentally exhausted now that we are coming to the end of a brutal regular season - the players, coaches and fans alike.
We all need a few days to recharge our batteries and get ready for the MEAC tournament.

This is an important game for the women as well as the men. They need to go into the tourney with wins, which = momentum. This is not the time to show weakness or play tentative. They have to show ----especially the women --- the killer instinct to put the fear back into their opponents. So, they need to win big time tonight!!! DOMINATE and DOMINATE the opponent is the message to be sent forth after tonight's game!!!!!!!

geeze! where's the interest in tonite's game? does anybody care anymore? I thought I was the only one that noticed the lack of interest in the mens basketball program. However I will be there for the last hooray; still looking for that electrifying gym. Looking on the bright side we graduate our players and get over 2 million dollars a year brought in to the athletic department; or is that over seven years??

I think that $2 million is what Eaves has raised over the past 7 years. At least, that's how I read the press release.

They have to show ----especially the women --- the killer instinct to put the fear back into their opponents. So, they need to win big time tonight!!! DOMINATE and DOMINATE the opponent is the message to be sent forth after tonight's game!!!!!!! i agree. the women need to get back on track to build up some momentum heading into the tournament. but the men? at this time last year, most of us were still on the edge of our seats following a wssu sweep, an undefeated february, and a chance at a 2nd place regular season finish. but oh what a difference a year makes! this year we get swept by wssu, we go 3-5 in february, and we have a delicate hold on 8th place in the meac. talk about deflating a balloon! now we have a slow starting strong finishing norfolk team coming into corbett tonight. if we're gonna have any chance of a first round win in the tournament, we need to win this game tonight. you'd hate to go into the tournament on a 4 game losing streak. man, i'm really disturbed with how the men's season unfolded this year. very disappointed! there's no reason in the world we shouldn't be a top 3 or 4 meac team this year and i'll leave it at that...

I think that the AD and Chancellor should let the "talking points" on money and graduation go. Someone is going to scrutinize them or spin them in a way where they will sound simplistic. We don't have any money to hire a new coach, and we should keep that under our hat, instead of trying to justify why we still have our present coach. Just say that we think he is doing a great job and leave it at that. Talk about strategies for increasing our funds and graduation rate. I'm not in favor of firing anyone from a job today. So, we need to stop trying to do whatever it is that we are trying to accomplish with these "talking points". I'm happy that he or any coach is graduating players. Is he (Eaves) graduating 90%, 80%, 70% of his players? I suspect not. That's a goal that the university should seek to obtain.

Oleschool, I feel ya. This season took a lot out of me. I saw a flash against Morgan. On the other hand the Women have helped a lot. I hope the PA announcer prompts the fans to give the Seniors a hand whenever the finally come out of the game.
The MEAC with that tue game format has me eating up a lot of time, but I'll be there.

If the men are just as bad next year I think support will windle down to nothing and the bad part about that is it will affect the attendance at the girls game and they should be even better next year.
I dont care what good news we have with the men in the offseason I am not going to have a hair of excitement until I see them and more importanely see how they are coached.

Aggies lose to Norfolk State - 66-67. Too many danggone 3-pt shots. Had a 45-25 lead at halftime.
