AGGIE BASKETBALL MAKES A SCHEDULE CHANGE
GREENSBORO, February 10, 2010 – The North Carolina A&T men’s and women’s basketball teams will undergo a change in their respective schedules. The Aggies’ scheduled opponent on February 20 – the S.C. State men’s basketball team – has an opportunity to play in an ESPNU BracketBusters game on February 20.
In order to assist a fellow conference member, North Carolina A&T has decided to move its game with the Bulldogs to 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 17 at Corbett Sports Center. The women’s game with the Bulldogs will still be played on February 20 at Corbett. But the game time has been changed from 2 p.m., to 4 p.m. Please make a note of these two changes. Admission is free for the women’s game on February 20.

I heard somebody say we're playing WSSU at the coliseum instead of Corbett. Can anybody verify that?

WB announced that they are looking at moving the WSSU games to the GC at the AC meeting last night. It wasn't finalized at that time though.

Are they going to recognize season book holders if they do? Sure they will. I think they are looking at how to get students there and back. I thought everyone on campus had a car,so that shouldn't be a problem.

Oleschool i can see what you mean about the atmosphere thing, but last year the atmosphere was terrible in Corbett...from "DJ Wrong Song" not getting anyone hype'd to the wine and cheese folks not truly engaged in the game. I'm hoping that with the move and not having to pay for it, we get more butts in the seats and a more lively crowd that can get into the game...

Yeah last year Corbett was DEAD up until the very end of the boys game... Seems as if everybody was in laid back mode chillin and trying to be seen nobody seemed to care that a game was going on.. NOW the first year I felt Corbett was LIVE for the WSSU game hopefully the game at the Coliseum will be hype and well attended...

NOW the first year I felt Corbett was LIVE for the WSSU game hopefully the game at the Coliseum will be hype and well attended... yeah, i agree with that. we were definitely "wine and cheese" last year. but i think having beat winston in football plus two times in a row in basketball (4 in a row if you count the ladies), i just think our folks got a little complacent. but this year i'd expect it to be hype again because we got embarrassed in winston last month. now folks want revenge just like the first time we played them in corbett 2 years ago! besides, we need to do something about our pa announcer and music selections. both need to be far more hype and fan engaging...
