I can provide some insight on the Maniacs as I am/was one. > Our president this year was someone that didn't stay on campus, he wasn't an undergrad, he's a grad student and it seemed his main objective was throwing parties. >The reason we're suspended is because our president didn't attend some of the required COP meetings. Rules say if the president is unable to make it, he must send a proxy in his place, but must still provide documentation. >Documentation wasn't turned in as required. Basically the problem was leadership. >Since we're suspended we can't wear any shirts that has our name on it, but that doesn't prevent us from wearing gold. Don't know if we can do our cheers or not, I've heard two different things, but we should be able to. >Since we've been suspended members of the Maniacs don't even attend the games anymore which is unexplainable, counting myself there's only been about 3 or 4 people at every game since our suspension. If we're able to get off suspension, we will choose a better leader as we didn't have a hand in picking our president this year. We want things done right and we want Corbett back to how it was 2 and 3 years ago. Wow thats crazy

Current', thanks. There are only 3 home games left. Man we miss ya'll. Please let your former members to at least 'pay back' WSSU. Brother they had a ball at the game over there when we played them, even though they were behind at times. BTW, the ESPNU commentators were wondering about the Dawg Pound a little.
Look, get it together and bounce back next year. We should be better next year.

Will do, I've already been thinking bout things for next year for the Maniacs, possible presidents, shirt designs, etc. its only a matter of putting everything together now.

I've been thinking about sending a message out to all Aggie Maniacs telling them to come to the games with their Aggie Maniac shirts so we can do chants and cheers and all that good stuff for the last two home games. Even though we're not supposed to wear anything with the Aggie Maniac name, I'm thinking about going against what the people upstairs say. If we're already suspended whats the worse that can happen? Is this a good idea to do so or not?

Current, I wouldn't want to test it. Stay on this side of the line. At best, turn the shirts inside out or put tape across your chest... at best. I would say to just get creative again, wear mardi-gras masks & street clothes or something to show unity, but dont get banned. You guys are the best thing that has happened in Corbett in a long time. We need you back.

I heard we're not supposed to but I don't really know.

On another note, how can one say to a fan, dont do a group cheer (what happens if an Aggie Pride breaks out)...wow, that's deep. I'm not a good person to give advice Current. This decision could affect Corbett for a long time.
On the other hand, I would go the Admin & ask for a waiver for the last 3 games, ( or maybe for the WSSU or MEAC Tourny) mentioning that the team is suffering without you all.

I talked to another member of Aggie Maniacs and he pretty much said the same thing...don't ruin it for next year. So tomorrow I'm going to try and at least find out who our new advisor is, I might have to run all around campus but I'll get it done. He said our previous advisor was Joya Cook but when she left no one knows who became the new advisor
