A&T Greeks represent at the Sprite Step Off

Congrats to the A&T chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha and Phi Beta Sigma for winning 1st and 2nd on the fraternity side, respectively, and Tau Beta Sigma for placing 3rd on the sorority side. A&T's Beta Epsilon chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha will move on to the national competition to be held in Atlanta.

All three groups did a FANTASTIC job and what I appreciated even more was the school support of each of the groups! AGGIE PRIDE was booming through the whole building when each group went on....it was a sight to see

Anyway, I didnt get any shots of the fraternities, but I did get Tau Beta Sigma (who I thought were better than the 2nd place team and neck-and-neck with the 1st place team)

Not trying to take anything away from the Alpha's but I heard from someone that was there that two of the judges were Alpha's while another one was an AKA. Could that be the reason they won? Anyways congrtats to them and I also heard if they win the national competition they will be in Stomp The Yard 2.

They actually were the best fraternity, in my opinion. Very polished performance, very precise with everything they did. I think it was probably a little closer between 2nd and 3rd and on down the line.

And no Im not an Alpha lol

The choreographer for Stomp the yard is an A&T alum and a Kappa. I think they're already shooting STY2. Maybe when he see's they're from T, he'll want to use them any way.

I really don't think that's the case, The Eta/BE. step rivalry has never been one sided in fact it has come down to mere points on score cards at time....Both chapters have talented teams and as much as i hate to say it, maybe it just wasn't Eta's Night...Anywho, Congrats BE. Represent at Nationals and See Yall at the G.H.O.E...

Most step shows provide judges affiliated with Greek Life, there are representatives from every one of the divine 9 on the judges panel.

Just dont want you to go by what you HEARD. They stepped they one. Congrats to both teams.
