2009 was definitely a year to remember.
It was a year in which we welcomed back General Alonzo Lee and witnessed a host of new play makers who helped restore the pride in the A&T football program. The year was marked by plenty of memorable moments and thought-provoking discussions. And all along the way the members and staff of bluedeathvalley.com worked hard to show their pride and passion for A&T athletics.
Now we’ll take time to honor the best of the best from 2009 and, of course, you the readers of the site will have a chance to decide on all the big winners.
Once again, we have 10 reader’s choice awards and for the first time ever, we will also honor the Donor of the Year, Prognosticator of the Year, and we’ll also have a special Fan Appreciation award for a very deserving person. That’s a total of 13 awards in all.
Fan voting will last from now until January 29. To add an extra element of suspense this year, we'll allow everyone to view the live results up until the final week ... then we'll hide the vote totals from Jan 24-Jan.28 before we unveil all the big winners on Jan. 29.

I humbly accept the Donor Award but placing second as Blue Death Poster of the Year is also quite humbling! I will continue to support the athletic programs as long as I see progress ....and believe me real progress was made!
Congrats to all the winners!
