Looks like Edward Waters and Alabama State had a battle of the big girls during the halftime of their game Saturday. Should this be viewed as exploitation or just innocent fun?

It would be fun if there were different shapes and sizes on the field, but they are ALL plus size. That photo looks like exploitation. That's like when a group of size 4-8 girls get on field people say where are the plus size girls. It's all love when you have all shapes and sizes that are talented, and can all do the same caliber of dance techniques and choreography.

Yeah it is exploitation, because alot of bands when they have a show that highlights plus sized ladies they always play the same song "Watch out for the big girls".

EWC's troupe "Purple Thunder" has been like that FOR YEARS. They INTENTIONALLY audition and take in ONLY big girls and they perform EVERY week. So IMO that's not technically a "gimmick".
ASU on the other hand..................
