***lets see how many posts we get in this thread or if we get the little FIRE icon on this one*** If you work for a company that has philanthropic aims, please post the name and contact information here so we may forward it to our Development Officer to initiate some possible partnerships. We know that our administration will have our back, even if some Alumni won't. And if you don't believe that funding has anything to do with recruiting good players, RETENTION of past members who are STILL ON CAMPUS BUT CANT AFFORD TO BE IN THE BAND, etc. Dont even reply to this post because its about the SOLUTION. Reserve the rest for the weekly WHA meeting. (Whining Haters Association) Ideally the Machine runs on pride as its fuel...ironically it needs money too. Everyone is heated because this is close to the heart. Hopefully the debate will result in POSITIVE growth for the kids and the University. Last point. Its NOT the 1990's. Once we understand this, we can work together.

If Dr. Ruff would allow people to work and be in the band as Doc Hodge did, there would be more members in the band
