A .500 season gets us to #5. A winning season get us to #3.

Is this a situation like at Michigan, where they count everybody at the stadium, including the people working concession?
Considering how AWFUL we have been, I'm surprised it was over 10K.

It's still a drop of over 8,000 fans per game over the last few years. It's exactly what I predicted would happen if we held on to Fobbs more than one season. That's why I was the only person on this board calling for his termination before his first season was up. Someone do the math and tell me how much that comes to in gross revenue.

What really saved our butts was WSSU, homecoming, and SCSU traveling.

Conservatively, $1.6 million in lost revenue (10 games X 8,000 x $20)

Ouch. We have to be very smart with how money is expended from now on.
If we could have a do-over, we probably shoulda went to Coastal first.

Those numbers aren't all profit numbers. They include students. They come in a different gate, but I'm not sure if they take them out of the attendence record or not.
Its still very low from our winning season of 2003 and right afterwards
