just because a person is an excellent position coach or a good coordinator, it doesn't mean they will be a good head coach.

NO, I'M 0KAY. PLEASE NEGLECT MY PREVIOUS 2 MESSAGES. I ACCIDENTALLY HIT THE WRONG BUTTON BOTH TIMES, I MEANT TO SAY;
just because a person is an excellent position coach or a good coordinator, it doesn't mean they will be a good head coach. Fobbs and Small are good examples of this and we had them back-to-bacK along with a weak athletic administration all at the same time. How much can an athletic dept and its fans takes???

Everything starts at the top. There was nothing in place to hold Renick and the BOT accountable.

In my opinion, Renick was the top. As Chancellor he was A&T's Chief Executive Officier. The board of trustees, alumni, etc don't make the day-to-day decisions that run the university and they shouldn't. The board of trustee should only act in an consulting and advisory capacity which makes sense to me. As far as day-to-day decisions, the buck stops with the Chancellor.

Did we go 3 and 8 in 2002, lose to NCCU and graduate 10% of our football players?
