Watching the game makes me believe the whole team has quit....coaches and team I'm in favor of starting over again! This is the most frustrating thing since I divorced my first wife ....

It was kinda sad. After that punt return, it was all down hill. Did we cross the 50. I don't remember that happening

I'm just glad it's over! Now we hope and pray that Wheeler will make the best choice for HC, so that he can start rebuilding this program the right way.

The D-line got no pressure at all today. The SC QBs had all the time in the world to sit back and find an open WR. All I could do was sit there and shake my head. I left in the 4th with about 11 mins left to play. I'm surprised at the score.....I thought they would put up about 70. They missed so many tackles today...dont make any senes. oh well. Cant wait to see how 2009 turns out

The biggest embarassment is -5 passing yards *Shakes Head*

The d-line had nothing to give today. By now, I suppose they are demoralized by the ineptness of their coaches. The vast majority of the tackles were made by the defensive backs. They made the hits to create fumbles, but that horrific offense had nothing to give to this game.
Mr. Brown will make a decision that he thinks will be in the best interest of the University. But first, he needs a big push broom for the people in charge of this program. A&T needs a clean sweep. He can not afford to select someone who is incapable of freeing A&T from the depths of mediocrity. Which is where A&T has been since the unceremonious dismissals of Corbett and Hayes. I am pulling for you Mr. Brown, but you had better get this right.

Right now, Wheeler has a lot on his plate because this is a tough decision for him! He has to get it right!

William Ford rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries to help S.C. State solidify an undefeated season in the MEAC with a 55-0 win over N.C. A&T at Aggie Stadium Saturday afternoon.
In the process of helping the Bulldogs improve to 10-2 overall and 8-0 in the MEAC, Ford also wrapped up the conference rushing title. Teammate Travil Jamison added three touchdowns, and quarterback Malcolm Long threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns on 12-for-19 passing.
The Bulldogs will now wait to see where they will play in the Division I FCS playoffs next week as the MEAC Champion representative.
“We didn’t want to do anything special today,’’ said S.C. State head coach Buddy Pough. “We kind of wanted to get in here and get through this game and hopefully win it. But our big thought since last Saturday is doing something once we get into the playoffs. It was great getting in here and getting this win, but we really got to get something done in the playoffs.”
The Bulldogs, who wrapped up the conference title last week, came out like a team that might be looking past an Aggies team that has struggled lately. S.C. State fumbled the ball twice in the first quarter and led just 7-0 at in the end of the first quarter thanks to an 81-yard punt return by Philip Adams.
But the Aggies offense could not take advantage of the S.C. State mistakes as stifling Bulldogs defense held the Aggies to just 41 yards of total offense, including minus-5 yards passing. It was the worst passing performance in Aggies history.
With the Aggies offense stymied, the Bulldogs offense eventually got into gear. On a 3rd-and-10 from the Aggies 28-yard line, Long scrambled to right and lofted a pass to the end zone that Matt Washington had time to wait for to come down because he was so wide open for a 14-0 Bulldogs. After N.C. A&T went three-and-out; the Bulldogs put together an 11-play, 71-yard drive that ended with a Jamison 2-yard touchdown with 15 seconds remaining in the half.
“I did not feel comfortable at all after the first half,’’ said Pough. “I thought we played poorly. We made too many mistakes. We got after them a little bit; we got a couple of breaks and got it going pretty good. Once we got it going, we just wanted to get out of here healthy.”
S.C. State’s break came early in the first half. Long found Phillip Morris open on an out route. It appeared N.C. A&T defensive back Quay Long had brought him to the ground at the Aggies 30. But Morris fought off Long and kept running. The officials ruled he was not down and Morris was credited with a 36-yard touchdown reception.
The Bulldogs had a 27-0 lead at that point and were unstoppable the rest of the game as totaled 511 yards of offense.
“They have a great group of talent over there,’’ said N.C. A&T interim head coach George Ragsdale. “I’m not going to pull any straws and tell no lies. I’m rooting for S.C. State in the playoffs. I think they’ll represent us well.”
