Damn ! I hate to see it, but I understand. I just hope they can keep that new field and other improvement at their football stadium from getting run down.

heartbroken. never like to see "any" hbcu's fall on hard times, especially hbcu's from my home state. i pray that they'll eventually pull themselves out of this...

St Aug needs to follow the blueprint that Gonzaga did."Before World War II broke out, Gonzaga had a football team - and they weren't bad. They had a . 560 winning percentage and went to one bowl. They also lost a lot of money, so after the war the school decided not to field another team"
Also St Aug at one point was a dominant track and field program, producing many Olympians. They also had a great basketball program. Hopefully they will get things back on track and just focus on basketball or track and field. Personally I feel they should have never revived their football program especially with the past and current financial situation of the University.
