"Retired" I wish him the best. Hampton just has not done well during its transition from the MEAC to the Big South to the CAA. I hope A&T has been watching and learning from their mistakes

One of the top 4 MEAC woman coaches ever. Good Luck but I got a strange feeling he might be coaching somewhere like the CIAA in a couple of years

I hope A&T has been watching and learning from their mistakes He is recovering from a stroke. exactly, which explains why there was a sudden drop off for lady hampton basketball. this man was beating several "power 5" teams almost every season when hampton was in the meac. so its not the competition in the new conferences that caused hampton's down fall. the man suffered a "stroke", that says it all. look, you don't forget how to coach in such a short period of time. i knew there had to be another reason...

I also wish Coach Six the best as well and I hope he is able to regain/sustain any neurological function that may have been compromised from his stroke.
I do think we be honest about this though.....
Can someone (not me) research when he first had his stroke [month/year] (web articles will tell you when it happened)...... Can someone (not me) research the record of Hampton's women's basketball each season since this unfortunate medical event occurred.... After doing this, what do you honestly deduce from it?
I know the answers to both questions. This definitely can be a touchy, sensitive subject that requires a "compassionate candidness." I'd be willing to bet the HU athletic dept has probably been taking that same approach with him as well over these past seasons. I applaud Coach Six for advancing HBCU D-I women's basketball. I'm sure those HU/A&T battles back in the MEAC made Coach Rob a better, battle-tested coach. Nothing but the best of wishes to Coach Six moving forward.
