A&T is a stepping stone in the sense of that S&C world. One was an assistant there in 2011 and 2012 is now the head strength coach at Colorado. You all are right. Until we start really investing, we will continue to be a Stepping stone. You had a Great long time loyal S&C coach in Walthaw but A&T dropped the ball and let him go. Last time I checked, he was still around the area. We need to show up at his door with some flowers and a real check Our Strength Coach for football and over the Program is still here

Walthaw is overated...our players never gained weight or muscle mass. One thing Aggie2039 is gonna do at least once a week is make an emphatic statement that is unsupported by facts.

The dude in the pro day pics was not working with Walthaw... He was working on strength and conditioning with another organization. 247sports.com/Article/former-at-aggie-de-darryl-johnson-is-returning-to-north-carolina-169889335/The Bills took a shot on Johnson with their first pick of the seventh round, No. 225 overall. Johnson was a 6-foot-6, 253-pound defensive end who had 10.5 sacks as a senior. Johnson was Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Defensive Player of the Year and was one of four finalists for the Black College Player of the Year Award. He played at about 230 pounds while at A&T but bulked up some in preparation for the NFL.

Any reason why Tommie Moore is not listed in the staff directory? I think the company that keeps our site updated needs to make these changes.

Of course, we need to invest more in our football program and our overall athletic budget. Thus, we are not going to have as many coaches, support staff as schools like Delaware. We also have to be a little patient. Our athletic budgets were inline with most Big South teams when we were in the Big South. However, when we joined the CAA, if I remember correctly, we were 14th in overall athletic budget and 15th(last) in football budget. Delaware has the highest athletic budget in CAA at $48 million. Their football and overall athletic budgets are more than double ours. When we joined the CAA, we were approximately $2 million (football) and $10 million (athletic) below the median. In fact, at least 5 of the top 15 FBS football budgets are consistently CAA schools. My point in saying all of this is that at this point in time, it's not fair to compare football budgets or overall athletic budgets to the likes of Delaware, William & Mary, Stony Brook, Richmond, and Villanova. We should be more focused on getting near the median budgets for the CAA.

We should be more focused on getting near the median budgets for the CAA. But our stated goal was to be successful in this conference. Those are some of the top programs in the conference. Why wouldn't we strive to have the same resources as the top programs? If we dont want to compete with the best in a particular conference, we should consider being in a different conference.

That's kinda (waaay) off topic, but we've known for at least ten years that we wanted to be in the CAA. We should've started increasing the budget dramatically back then.
As far as the S&C coach or not coach, if we have one and an outside party is supposed to update the website, we need to hold them accountable (unless we haven't paid them, lol). Who is the person who is supposed to be the "hold people accountable" person I wonder?

There just doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason on how we manage information on our website.
We removed Chris Young's name from the website soon after we fired him and put out a statement on social media, but we still have not announced the hiring of new senior athletic director Quante Speight, and the current strength and conditioning coach is nowhere to be found on the staff directory.
I'm not sure if it laziness, incompetence or if we are withholding information for some strategic purpose.

Basically. They’re the ones that commissioned the study that supposedly said we should be in the CAA back then.
Back to the topic…
