You don’t like fellowshipping with other HBCU graduates. A lot of A&T fans do. We saw this at Norfolk this past season. That is a big reason why those historic rivalries are more well attended than our matchups against PWC opponents. I dont like subpar athletics. I talk to HBCU grads at work, I like challenges i understand you care more about getting drunk and partying than good football. People are comfortable being mediocre and do not like change or challenges, that's not me.

How many A&T football games have you attended in the past five years? You may have a preference for a certain game atmosphere that appeals to your sensibilities, but the folks who actually come out to the stadium might want something more.

Getting back to winning games will mean even more in the future because there will be far less disputes over literally nothing on here. The past 2 years or so on here have been insanely aggressive lmao

Lol well I come to games and have maybe missed 2 home games in 5 years. To his point , atleast a lot of our fans aren't concerned with the x's and o's. Or the actual game going on. You can't even get people to make noise on 3rd down when our opponent has the ball

The only other “classic” that really mattered to me leaving the MEAC. I was sick when I saw a Norfolk series as the consolation when leaving the conference 😂 I do not get enjoyment out of playing and beating severely underfunded programs that play very basic and poorly executed brand of football. I can imagine fans of Richmond, Villanova, Delaware, Rhode Island saying the same thing.....ABOUT US

A lot of A&T fans prefer to attend games where they can also fellowship with other HBCU grads, moreso than just watch competitive action on the field.

We have always played a PWI team in FCS. And people still were fickle on when they came to a game. So what's the real answer

So what's the real answer Yeah I have no dog in this fight but the most frustrating thing was the fans that genuinely were speaking on the atmosphere shift because of the visiting team being different. The likes of Morgan, Delaware State, Bethune, Howard (in the final years of the conference), & Norfolk (I know the people who pull up to games strictly to see bands are gonna disagree with that one) added ZERO to the atmosphere post-2010. It mostly depends on us. The MEAC as a whole is not a conference where fans travel & create some type of electric CFB atmosphere present day. FAMU, A&T, SC State (sometimes) were the main schools of the last 10 years that really had a vibe going & provided that animosity. Things are a little different in Orangeburg now it seems though post-2020. Outside of Aggie-Eagle, A&T-State, & Florida Classic, how much visible fan involvement was there those last seasons? And really FAMU & A&T shouldered A LOT of the load

we should "never" depend on visiting fans to help fill our stadium. but on the road? at least here in the dmv, aggies turnout in "much bigger" numbers at hbcu's (i.e., howard, msu, nsu, hampton, etc.) than pwc's (towson, richmond, w&m) and that's a "fact"...

Outside the playoff game When has A&T played at those schools? The 70s, 80s or 90s 🤣🤣🤣 The fact is this season was the first game ever versus Towson and second versus Richmond 🤣🤣🤣 It probably safe to assume we have never played W&M either. Fact is you have no idea what Aggie attendance will be 🤣🤣🤣 and you will never know because you will not attend the game 🤣🤣
