122nd in total offense (DEAD LAST).....we're the only team in America averaging less than 200 ypg 118th out of 122 in time of possession 122nd in team passing efficiency...we are 20 points worse in passing efficiency compared to the 121st ranked team 117th out of 122 teams in scoring offense......THANK GOD FOR COOKE'S KICKOFFS......we'd be 123rd without him 122nd out of 122 teams in first downs gained by offense
I've never in my life seen numbers this abysmal. This man has been around the CAA too long to put together a staff that produces paltry numbers like this. This is unacceptable....

Judging from what was said at the presser either Brown is an incredible poker player or being last in the nation isn’t the greatest issue. That's the problem. I know he is just trying to maintain a positive outlook, but it almost getting to the point where he doesn't seem concerned about having the worst offense in the nation.

And I dont want to hear another word about increasing alumni giving if our athletic department is giving Chris Young $123,000 a year.
That is a misappropriation of funds if I ever heard one.

Now yall are FINALLY at where I been since the 3rd press conference into the season. This guy has been giving everyone the "fans are stupid" treatment and "I can say anything I want because I'm the head coach. Yall need me in aggieland. Yall hired me!". His tone always reeks of "If you aint putting up major dollars and kissing my a$$ then kiss my a$$". He says talking points that ANY HC is suppose to say and acts like its profound. But keep having "a great day in Aggieland". This guy is a done deal in my book. Short of finishing top 3 in the CAA next year he a done deal for me. I want a coach with the cojones to fire the worse OC in all of college football... Lets start there at least cause nothing they can do vs Hampton, Townson, Rhode Island nor Campbell is going to change anyone's mind at this point.

If you fire the OC, which one of the coaches becomes the OC for the rest of the season? We are running his system and we have no QB coach.

You could let a backup QB call the plays at this point. And for the record, I dont care if its now or at the end of the season. But he has to go after that Campbell game if he aint gone by then. I probably wouldn't fire him now myself. You wont have me out here with no scapegoat at the end of the year.

Arkansas fires offensive coordinator Dan Enos after home loss
Heather Dinich, ESPN Senior Writer Oct 22, 2023, 03:43 PM ETArkansas fired offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Dan Enos effective immediately, the school announced Sunday. Arkansas, now 2-6 and winless in the SEC following Saturday's 7-3 home loss to Mississippi State, has lost six straight games under coach Sam Pittman. Wide receivers coach and former Ohio State quarterback Kenny Guiton will take over playcalling duties for the Razorbacks for the remainder of the season. Enos, who was hired in January, led a spiraling offense that averaged 2.9 yards per play Saturday -- its worst performance since No. 23, 2018, when the Razorbacks averaged 2.92 yards per play in a 38-0 loss to Missouri. Arkansas is ranked 118th in the FBS in yards per game and 114th in rushing offense. This was Enos' second stint at Arkansas, as he was also the program's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2015 to 2017. Arkansas is in the midst of its longest losing streak since 2019, when it lost nine straight and finished 2-10 and winless in the SEC. Coach Chad Morris was fired before the season was over. "We got a lot of decisions to make," Pittman said after Saturday's loss. "We owe it to our team. We owe it to our fans. So we'll figure that part of it out. My biggest thing, to be honest with you, is that the defense has continued to improve. My biggest concern is with the kids and the entire team. Time and time again we ask them, 'If you'll just hold them or shut them out, we'll win.' "Now, we just weren't able to do it. Defense is improving. Offense, we got enough talent on offense we ought to be playing better than what we are, and that's on me, I got to figure that out." Poole was passing game coordinator with some semipro team Bankins was OC at Hampton in 2006 when they went 10-2 and lost 41-38 to UNH in the first round of the playoffs Gallon was OC at RMU last year (they stunk)
Meanwhile, what part of this resume said "good hire as OC/QB coach?:
WR or tight end coach, yes.
OC or qb coach, no.
If this is what the process is leading us to, the best we can hope for is to be mediocre on offense.
Since coach appears loathe to change despite the horrid truth in front of his eyes, it really doesn't matter. But were it me I'd be figuring out who in my building can best coach a qb or getting on the horn with a former player who's looking for a grad assistant job or some volunteer work, reassigning Young to WRs and tight ends, and letting Poole handle the offense.

Y’all gotta stop. Seriously. Why you want us to be like the offense? Personally, I realize firing ain't happening. But nothing beyond detrimental stubbornness is keeping us from changing staff responsibilities for the better of the team.

We have the worst offense in the history of A&T football and yall want to stay the course for another month.
This is why we are incapable of experiencing rapid growth in our athletic department. This is why we still having major staff vacancies, slow facility upgrades and still no athletic giving campaign.
Our fanbase has been conditioned to accept inaction.
War Memorial Stadium is a perfect symbol of where we are right now.

Y’all gotta stop. Seriously. Why you want us to be like the offense? Personally, I realize firing ain't happening. But nothing beyond detrimental stubbornness is keeping us from changing staff responsibilities for the better of the team. I don’t want you to like the offense. I want you, Bornthrilla, N$$, other Aggies getting ready to light the torches to understand that A&T admins don’t move the way you want move unless you are going to drop the big bucks to pay for these buyouts. You gotta be a goofball to the highest power to think anyone on the inside likes how things are going right now. However, it was foolish to think we were ever gonna be any better than 1-6 at this juncture. And that’s even with Sam Washington and his staff remaining in place. We ended up in the CAA. And guess what? We played 4 top tier CAA teams that are full of seniors and the best QBs we’ve played ever. Even if this is a CAA on a down slide, the competition is far better than the MEAC and Big South. Go argue with your mama if you disagree. Our schedule was too damn difficult, full of teams that had dozens of Super Seniors on the roster because of COVID. We have a tendency to wear the blue and gold colored glasses regarding our program. Me included. This is a 3-5 year project for Football and we’re going to have multiple years of losing seasons and anemic performances. And we’ve been tending this direction since Covid arrived. It’s just that we also moved from the MEAC and Deion Sanders took HBCU football by storm, quickly brushing us away from the dominant conversation. And for those complaining that Alumni like me are being trained to accept mediocracy from A&T Admins and the BOT are quite ignorant of the conversations I’ve had with admins and employees. But if the direction bothers you that much, go holla at Willie Deese at the local golf course with the other Aggie boosters. But you’re not because that’s not your steez. So what are we doing? Either way, pick your ego off the floor, get even more active with the Alumni groups, get more knowledge about the internal happenings, especially now, and donate more, if you can. Heck, many of you all need to get off your butts and donate, period. Also, if it doesn’t apply, let it fly. But if you’re a hit dog, oh well.

I'm calling for a reassignment. Why do you keep talking about spending money on a buyout? Do you really have an aversion to change so high that you can't read the words typewritten on the page?
All that other stuff has zero to do with the reality of the situation. We are dead stank last in the nation in total offense, we are passing for barely over 50 yards per game, we aren't calling plays with any semblance of logic or coherence (imo), we aren't coaching or using the talent we have available with any semblance of skill, and we have a number of offensive coaches that have been successful here and elsewhere and one in particular WHO HAS NOT.
That coach needs to be reassigned to what his skill set says he can be successful at.

No amount of donating would change that the OC needs to go.
I'm talking football and football only. Forget how much anyone donates or who knows what about pinching pennies and the inside scoop on this or that. That dude is a terrible OC. The team has not improved stat wise or looks wise. His demise should be iniment in my opinion.
