Robert Pompey said major construction to War Memorial is expected to begin next Summer after the Baseball season.
Hold them to this timeline, 'Thrilla!

These guys are all jive turkeys like I told you.
They continue to tell yall this crap year after year because they think yall are dumb enough to believe them.
What happened to the powerpoint slide that said the renovations were already supposed to start last month. lol.
You, blue haze, aggie2039, Kev and others should feel embarrassed. Y'all vouched for this incompetence.
Notice how he tried to slip in the Historic Committee once again, as if that was still part of the delay. I already called them on the phone and they said they have no further involvement with the stadium renovation process. A&T is basically just using their name for clout now.
Next summer there will be another lame reason why we have to wait a little while longer. Maybe old boy will come back on here and give us an update of the asbestos crisis.

So, we have 9 million dollars that's just been laying around in a shoebox since 2021, but they are gonna wait and allow War Memorial to remain a complete dump during our debut season in the CAA ... until we finally find some time to star making repairs sometime next summer.
In the meantime, they are still going to meet with the Historic Committee regularly to go over detailed plans ... on what they are not gonna even start doing until next summer.
Got it. Makes perfect sense to me.

Hell, I just thought of a good way to generate revenue for the A&T athletic department.
Since this is Halloween season, why not turn War Memorial Stadium into a "Fields of Terror" attraction this month and charge like $20 a person to walk through the bleachers and inside the tunnels.
You can play some creepy music on the loud speakers and have the baseball team dress up as demonic ghouls.
Imagine how much money you would save because you wouldn't have to decorate the stadium at all.

I still support this administration That was a 2 hour presentation showing all of the improvements across the campus. I'm sorry, if a non-revenue sport timeline is getting pushed to the back burner.

That's what they are counting on. Spend most of the presentation talking about all the important academic stuff, and then try to sweep the embarrassing, incompetent stuff under the rug when nobody is looking.
FYI: Jedi mind tricks only work on the weak-minded.

Why not do an episode and air these thoughts out on YouTube?

Right, because up until now I have not been very clear on my feelings about War Memorial. We need to have a 2 hour podcast just so I can repeat everything I have been saying for the past 6 years.

Why not mention the six years of grievances about this on that platform?

I have. Everybody who watches the show knows my feelings on the subject. We talked to the baseball coach about War Memorial when he was on the program two years ago. He was under they impression that renovations were imminent. Obviously they lied to him too.
Inside the Valley and Blue Death After Dark both center around football talk, but fans are encouraged to come of the show and discuss whatever they want.
You can join the link next week on Inside The Valley and talk about War Memorial Stadium if that is what interests you. But we are not about to suddenly change our entire format to focus on that topic.

BTW: This is how you catch jive turkeys trying to pull a fast one: After all the years of promises and lame excuses, this is where we are in the War Memorial renovation process. "A concurrent study". When people have missed numerous deadlines and they don't have anything concrete to deliver, they always talk about doing studies or hiring consultants. What the hell is there left to study if you already met with the Historic Committee, hired an designer (allegedly) and earmarked 9 million dollars?

His comments about our conference affiliation were pretty poignant with many shots fired towards the critics of the move out of the MEAC.

Once again, this is your invitation to come on the show next week and talk about anything from the Town Hall that interests you. The link will be in the chat as usual.

This is the kind of commentary I want to hear from you specifically about A&T. This would be similar to Kenn Rashad calling out his alma mater for naming their football field after Doug Williams over at Grambling.
