Facilities are just a part of the equation. Like it or not you have to have the talent and coaching to fully appreciate the facilities. True. But as fans, our role is development. Recruiting and staffing is out of our lane. If that is the case your program is in trouble. A&T would not have gotten Tarik Cohen if your comments were followed.A lot of programs rely on input from there fans about athletes. I live in Gainesville and UF uses fan input to track players for there football team that maybe over looked . Be for I retired and moved here from Texas , alot of the Big 12 programs had the same set up . You would be surprised what input fans have in helping there programs to find the right talent. A few years ago Texas found there future stating QB from a small know name town in West Texas out in the middle of know where , TCU got a TE that is now in the NFL from a town named Monday a Six-man program because of there fans . It happens more then you know .

It's just how things are in the age of social media...I got all kinds of respect for former players...but coaches and administrators they are not. I got all kinds of respect for our fans, the Aggie Nation is strong...but coaches and administrators we are not.
Just imagine how things would have been when we were 0-27 with the social media climate we have now...or what some of our best teams may have looked like if there was a transfer portal 5-10 years ago. There is no such thing as patience, planning, or building now. Everything is immediate, the sky is falling, and panic mode.
I'm all for making changes when problems are identified...but constantly second guessing, and damn near jumping off bridges because of social media posts make is hard to get anything done.

i have two but they're adults now. but that doesn't matter. i realize that undergrads and very recent grads have not reached their full maturity yet. so why waste your time debating with them? it won't change anything. just a waste of time... What you portend is that those that haven't reached "full maturity" (which is VERY subjective) can't be debated with and convinced of anything. I will tell you that I do it with my kids (18, 21 & 28) quite a bit and I've seen/heard others do it on MANY occasions. Your point is RIDICULOUS. who's mind did you change? certainly not those who you debated with. like i said, its a waste of time. besides, those were not "your kids" that you were debating with, totally different scenario...

How do you KNOW if any minds were changed or not? Did you even see what I said? Frankly, what's a waste of time is me continuing this ABSURD conversation with you about changing people's minds (young or old). So I'm outta this FOOLISHNESS. #Toodles
