If it wasn’t for money, if it wasn’t for better exposure, if it wasn’t for travel distance, if it wasn’t for the R1 status or academics then what was it for?? Someone please enlighten me. I must have missed the real memo. This here is what we can NEVER get out of anyone. The reasons change from month to month from the administration.

They have a right to like or dislike anything, but to go on social media to express their issues about the school to me seems like they are following each others venting about a subject. Bothers me that they want to collectively throw blows at the university by use of the social media platform.

Forums are a special type of social media platform, but still considered social media. We on occasion disagree with the administration or performance of a coach or team on here, so what is the difference in these athletes airing out their opinions on another social media platform? We may disagree with their comments and some of their comments may not be truthful, but that is known about public communications. No one is under oath. But if not blocked or banned, we all have the opportunity to voice our own opinions in agreement or disagreement of the previous posters. Let us not start debating which social media platform we can discuss public matters related to A&T.

i gotta tell ya, if i'm a former aggie player who played under coach broadway or coach wash, and watched the product that we're currently putting on the football field, i'd be pissed too! you helped build a&t's football program into an hbcu football "power" only to watch your former "adored" head coach get fired and replaced by an "inexperienced" head coach who "so far" has not put a "respectable" product on the football field. after 3 football games, many aggies are predicting that we won't even win 1 single game this season! that's how horrible our team has looked so far and if i'm a former player, heck yeah i'd be "pissed"!
i mean, the former players went from building and sustaining a proud championship caliber program that maintained a "winning culture" in the locker room, to now seeing your hard work over the years being "laughed at" by our opponents. the "ineptness" of our offense alone (especially the passing game) is grounds for someone's head to roll!
yet, we've got some who place the blame on our players? omg...

Many of us "old heads" have been taught to believe half of what you hear and see...but these younger folks see social media as the truth in it's purest form. I can't tell ya how many times I've had to correct misinformation coming from people using nothing more than a google search. I think it's great these guys wanna speak out, even if I disagree with a lot of what they are saying...but I would hope that some of their peers pull them to the side and correct them in the areas where they are wrong. Y'all remember the "housing crisis" at NCAT last year. How students went on social media to voice their opinion (which is fine), then when the facts came out we found out the there was no crisis. In fact many other schools were facing the same problem, and that NCAT housed a greater percentage of our students than any school in the UNC System. Opinions are one thing...I'm sure we all got something to say about how the team has been playing and being 0-3, but passing those opinions off as facts is something all together different.

I see and understand the point you’re making and I’m not disagreeing with you, but the discussions that we have on this platform is at a place built and solely dedicated for these discussions. There are ex-players, students (I think), former students and fans here, who are you trying to reach when you post on other platforms. I think there is a difference from what we do here, because it is here, for arguments and discussion, but not voiced in place’s totally for the purpose of throwing rocks.

Because they did not make it to the next level. What does there not making a NFL team have to do with this conversation . Also if you get a NFL training camp invitation, you made it to the ultimate level in American football you just didn't stick. There are the pro leagues, as long as you get a check your professional.

Yes, due to freedom of speech. Misinformation is part of our society today. Take Trump's posts or comments on TV. Do you believe everything he says? Yet he reaches millions.

You described why I mentioned a forum is a special type of social media platform. We would love to have most or all of A&T matters discussed here on this wonderful site, but people have choices which we can't control. What we can control is whether we decide to block out the noise or to respond. Same old stuff our parents told us as a young kid applies here as to social media.
