i created this thread because i keep finding myself watching va. tech and wake forest football games that i normally wouldn't watch, but now i do because i wanna see former aggies tuten and roberts play.
i watched roberts play against odu this past weekend and he went "beast mode" on dem fools! i don't remember his stats, but he definitely had about 2 sacks and several tackles.
i also watched tuten play against rutgers this weekend and he looked "ok" but not spectacular, mainly because his o-line doesn't run block very well. he did score a 1 or 2 yard td, had a couple of nice runs and pass receptions that went maybe 10 yards or so. but so far, not the tuten we saw at a&t last year. but again, va. tech's run blocking is "garbage". so i really don't blame tuten for poor rushing stats.
i'm gonna try to keep updating this thread every week, but also add other aggie transfers as well. i wanna see guys who decide to leave our program be successful wherever they transfer to because i feel it makes our program look good if its an fbs team. i mean, every time tuten or roberts makes a big play on tv, the announcers almost always say their names along with the attachment, "transferred from north carolina a&t" which gives national exposure to our program...

Roberts was getting busy , also had a sack/forced fumble that set Wake up for the game winning TD. Definitely glad to see him getting plays other than on special teams. He also got Defensive Player Of The Week . And yeah VT is doing a terrible job blocking for Tuten.

If Roberts can sustain this production, he will be a 1st Team All-ACC selection by years end.
I replied to a tweet about him being DPOW with a simple "Aggie Pride"

A good line makes a good RB a great RB . It's a shame that Tuten has to find this out the hard way .

I replied to a tweet about him being DPOW with a simple "Aggie Pride"hey, i'm of the mindset that "once an aggie, always an aggie", unless they transfer to the buzzards, lol. i remember being heartbroken when amber calvin transferred to fsu in her final year of eligibility even though she was struggling with knee problems. but i understood her circumstances and was glad to see she had a good season at fsu. however, in my mind, she'll always be an aggie first and foremost. so i'm witcha when former aggies perform well at a higher level school, i feel nothing but a bunch of "aggie pride"...

tuten looks pretty good today against marshall. he broke two fairly long runs, one for 27 yards and another for almost 50 yards. he has about 80 yards rushing in the first half on only 4 carries or so. he almost lost a "fumble", but recovered his own fumble.
today will "easily" be his best rushing day, should gain more than 100 yards rushing today barring injury. he also had nice catch outta the backfield for about 10 yards. so he's very productive today and its not even halftime yet...
