Man. There is just so much to unpack here. Overall, I personally can’t address Coach Walthaw leaving for Greensboro College nor can I provide resolutions for those deeper level issues. Lastly, I suspect many members of the program faced various issues thanks to the pandemic. Hopefully, that stuff is behind us in 2022. It must be discus moving forward otherwise we are complicit in this dismay. So wjhile some here are giving Coach Washington and Staff a silly mandate the Strength Coach thing need to address. If it is not address by this plat form this speaks volumns. It is not my intent to initate wild speculatiojns but enquiring minds need to know the whyness of his dismissal.Mental midgets will take comfort by acceptance of the narrative of the AD which is why we are on the express train to the bottom. Well, Walthaw is at a D3 now and we have 2 in his place; one from JMU and his assistant from Angelo State. Even the Basketball teams has a dedicated S&C Coach. The more important thing is making sure these kids have the proper training tables in their various training facilities. And I wouldn’t call us “mental midgets” either just because a public stink wasn’t raised. Call me silly but I doubt we really fired a S&C Coach during a pandemic. Also, JMU is a winning program. Umm, that might be an upgrade after all. You know, like Coach Ross.

That could be a good thing but, I hope he doesn't stunt the growths of Tuten and the young man from Georgia. Out of all my concerns, the least of my worries were/are the running back position...even if they didn't perform up to the standard we are used to seeing. i was very happy with tuten's performance this season, he's a straight up "stud"! however, martin and baker won't return next season. i'm concerned about rb #2 and rb #3. we need at least "3" high performance rb's for our offense to be successful and one of the rb's should be a 3rd down back (like baker) who is a threat to catch the ball outta the backfield. at this point, i'm not so sure we have major impact rb #2 and rb #3 on the roster. somebody on the roster other than tuten is gonna have to prove themselves or else we better sign a couple of major impact rb's. on a side note, howard just signed the son of former nfl hall of fame rb, edgerrin james who is a 3 star rb. matter fact, according to reports ( hbcugameday.com/2021/12/16/howard-university-signed-six-three-star-prospects-by-skipping-transfer-portal/), howard has signed six 3 star athletes... I believe we might have an answer for Baker's graduating as the "wiggle" back for the offense already in waiting in walk-on Jalon Razor from Tarboro who sat out this year. He's not the biggest guy in the world at 5-7,170 but he can flat out ball. www.hudl.com/profile/9615406/Jalen-Razor

fick·le /ˈfik(ə)l/ Learn to pronounce adjective changing frequently, especially as regards one's loyalties, interests, or affection.

There's nothing wrong with writing 6 figure checks but that's far from the only way to influence things inside a college athletic department. I did not write a 6 figure check this year, but I single handedly got the university to institute a vaccine policy at all home football and basketball games this year. That is my proudest accomplishment of 2021. School leaders listen to top boosters but they listen to the rank and file supporters also. Seriously? You're the reason we had to show vaccine cards?

Of course I am the reason we had a vaccine mandate. That is common knowledge.
Where have you guys been?
