We need a dedicated QB coach on the staff next season.
There is no earthly reason why redshirt juniors should have basic passing mechanics this terrible.
I am sorry, sir.
You were right; I was wrong.

It is criminal how little we have developed Ifedi as a passer since he arrived here.
The kid threw for over 4,000 yards in high school. There is talent there to work with.

I mentioned in a post 1 or 2 weeks ago that the staff should design plays for him to pass the ball as well as use his running ability. Everybody and their great, great granddaddy knew that when he came into the game he was going to run a weak draw. He obviously had some talent due to his great passing record in high school and being recruited as a QB. He also must be a good teammate, because he has hung around A&T with hardly any playing time and little respect for his playing ability.

Our coaches are blind and have tunnel vision. They refuse to experiment with other players who have great potential.
Idefi played really well at Duke but never got another chance until today to show his wares.
He is not an elite passer but could be with opportunities and proper coaching. Our supposedly #1 qb Jalen has no heart, desire or guts. He laid down today and performed as if he didn't give a damn.

I thought you were the guy who chastised others for publicly criticizing student athletes. I know you are not happy with his performance today, but that is kinda over the top.

I agree with some parts of your assessment especially on the coaches but to say that Fowler has no Heart ,Guts or Desire , Come on man the man played injured the last few games . That doesn't sound like a player with no Heart , Guts or Desire . That O-line gave no help either in the first quarter you can ask Martin about that . Hell they didn't decide to play until late in the second quarter or about the time Ifedi entered the game . Dude your Dead Wrong .

Ifedi deserved his chance and he took it well. Grading on a curve here, he/we all know that he’s not a natural passer.

And I second the notion of this thread. We need a dedicated QB Coach and dedicated OC. I’m just not sure if we can afford it.

Most likely, Barnette will get another shot in 2022.

A QB coach isnt 6 figures ... $50k is a good number Most QB coaches at the FCS level have double duties. Most are OC's unless they volunteer to coach QB's . At this level you will find few salaried coaches that there only duty is coaching one individual position. Was Barnette a QB in college and dosen't he have experience coaching QB's ,if I am not mistaken he has . You don't need to add what you already have , and make that his responsibility as part of his duties if they are not already . If A&T is going in a new direction make sure the new OC has a background coaching QB's or reach out and find a volunteer. You may find one in our own back yard.

A&T is the one that decided to leave the MEAC and supposedly move up to a higher conference. If you gone be with the Big Dawgs you got to come off the porch and compete.
T is gone have to spend some duckies in order to compete and win. If they ain't or don't, then they have waisted their time and need to return to a HBCU conference.
