N.C. A&T will venture into the Big South with first conference game on Saturday By John Dell N.C. A&T’s Jalen Fowler, a redshirt junior, won for the first time in his career as a starter last Saturday against N.C. Central. He helped the Aggies score on five of their first seven possessions.
N.C. A&T’s football program will venture into new territory on Saturday with its debut game in the Big South Conference. The Aggies (1-2) will play Robert Morris (1-1) at Truist Stadium. Both schools are rookies in the Big South and will be playing each other for the first time. It’s hard to quantify what the Aggies, the champions of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference the last three seasons, will be up against in terms of a new conference. Monmouth and Kennesaw State made the FCS playoffs in 2019 and are considered two of the league’ best programs. Aggies coach Sam Washington said it’s hard to compare the MEAC to the Big South. “I think they throw to run,” Washington said about his general opinion of the Big South. “Most teams run to throw, and I think that’s going to be a big difference.” According to 2019 conference statistics, seven of the eighth schools passed for more yards than they rushed. I saw some of the Howard vs Robert Morris and it was a good game. Howard was moving the ball at the end but a late overturn call on catch at Robert Morris 20 yd line turn the momentum around. Howard had around 350 total yds but the QB was sacked 6 times. I think we will be alright we just score TD in the red zone.

Robert Morris is not good. This game will be similar to the two times we previously faced Gardner-Webb.

If we don’t drop 50 on this team, complain.

If we don’t drop 50 on this team, complain. Yeah, I am getting those same vibes after watching the film. Not a whole bunch of talent on that roster.

Robert Morris Football Earns First Win of 2021, Beats Howard 22-16It was a well-played battle to honor Joe Walton on Saturday as the Robert Morris Colonials (1-1) defeated the Howard Bison (0-4) by the score of 22-16. Both teams provided a few strong defensive stops and some big offensive plays, the latter especially happening in the second half. The first quarter was all defense as only one drive was able to make it to their opponent’s end and that was the opening drive by Howard. Howard drove 55 yards down the field to start the game, all the way to RMU’s 20, but was stopped on fourth down after the RMU defense forced a Quinton Williams incompletion. RMU’s defensive line was stout all day, giving up just 2.9 yards per carry on the run game and sacking Williams 6 times, with an additional 6 tackles for loss and a forced fumble. “We’re happy we won,” said RMU Head Coach Bernard Clark. “Victories are always so good. We have to relish in victories that are not easy to get and obviously this one was not easy to get.” pittsburghsportsnow.com/2021/09/25/robert-morris-football-earns-first-win-of-2021-beats-howard-22-16/

Does anyone know why we don't have GAME NOTES on the website for this weekend's game against Robert Morris??
In fact, the only Game Notes posted on the "Game Notes" tab are the ones for the Furman game.

I wanna know why Jah don't have the most votes. I'm not surprised it almost seems as though Baker want it a little bit more and it seemed like he's always trying to prove himself to be the primary back not jah.
