lol, i saw this on facebook. without question well deserved for coach bibbs. once she turned our wbb program around, i don't think we've had a wbb losing season since. the great success that coach rob is having is an extension of what coach bibbs started.
but dee todd? who was responsible for hiring lee fobbs? who is therefore responsible for our 27 game "losing streak" in football? now that's the funny part...

Yeah, she did strikeout with Fobbs, who was all 27 outs of a no-hitter. All ADs have duds.
But she should get great credit for the track program getting a huge boost, IMHO. I think that is fair.

I know Space. My sister ran for Space. He definitely developed the athletes and set in motion their rise to prominence while he was there.
But you're saying that it's not true that Dee Todd was very instrumental in the development of the facility??

They both had vision One with a vision and the other with alike vision and accessibility to funds and resources. God knows that we needed an AD that gave a Damn because Irvin didn't or another AD up until the arrival of Space . So I guess they may have arrived at A&T about the same time .

I lost respect for Dee Todd when she suggested (with a straight face) that the Aggie Club could raise money for athletics by selling blue and gold M&Ms. I damn near got up to leave the meeting. She didn’t bring a lot to the role.

i don't have very good memories of dee todd. i do know that our overall athletic department at that time was in "shambles" after bill hayes got fired. none of our sports teams were "meac championship" contenders other than coach bibbs' wbb team. several of our sports teams were either "winless" or "near winless" such as football, men's basketball, men's and women's tennis, and volleyball.
however, i do give her credit for initiating the movement for aggies to wear "gold" during her era which makes us very "visible" in the stands at football and basketball games...
