The potted plant needs to be proactive and start his own rumors about the "big" south being absorbed by the MEAC. The only school that can/will be absorbed by us will be Hampton. It's more of a likely BCU will be forced out of the MEAC due to their accreditation struggles then A&T leaving for an imploding Big South. That would be hilarious to see Harvey tuck his tale and come back.

Honestly, there is nothing about the Big South that I find appealing. I feel the same way about the Group of 5 conferences in Div I. I don’t want to be reactionary, but I just don’t see myself supporting A&T athletics to the same extent. As flawed as the MEAC is I prefer it to the Big South.

Even with the rumored addition of Virginia State and Bowie State to the MEAC, this moves signals the END of either the MEAC, CIAA, or BOTH. Don't like this move, but NONE of us cannot say we didn't see it coming a mile away with the upgrades, the renaming of Aggie Stadium, and the branding...

A closely placed source said that it is definitely an agenda item!

I'm not feeling this either right now. Someone please tell me the benefits of this? I'm trying to find the benefit as well. Unless there's decisions makers who thinks the athletic department being affiliated with PWIs is some kind of benefit, which I don't see how it would be. I imagine we will be playing Hampton every other year for GHOE. And the lost revenue from no longer having the NCCU game.

I'm starting to feel like the mysterious person who started this thread was Earl Hilton using his burner account. Touche' Earl Touche'

We would play NCCU in non conference. Come on fellas.
If this is true this means the MEAC is crumbling. SCSU has less than 1000 undergrads, and BCU failing that Accreditation is very likely
