We will go to the CB, but the question is do we deserve to represent the MEAC in the CB WGAF?

FAMU is out the picture. If we dont deserve to go if we win out then nobody does. We beat SCSU, BCU just lost to Del state, and you saw what happened to us. NCCU damn sure dont. Norfolk whipped them. We whipped Norfolk. So the word "deserve"? If we win out we actually do deserve it.

Do you guys remember how Coach Broadway would change Offensive coordinators every season? Well I think our current OC is long past his expiration date.

The rationale for firing Washington & Joyner are absolutely ridiculous based on the merits. Upsets happen, you sometimes play flat (like today) and often times you lose to better teams. Washington won the National Championship and has been the coach of the No 1 HBCU team in the country for most of the year. We lost in OT on the road to a equally talented FAMU squad with the best quarterback in HBCU football (nothing to be ashamed about). This is after losing 13 starters from the previous years team including the HBCU defensive player of the year. There are some holes in the play calling and in the secondary that needs to be addressed but the team is poised going forward with Bell, Wilder, Pettiford, Cates and Carter being the biggest losses form this years team. Findng a top tier quarterback will be key to next years squad, particularly with the recievers and Martin coming back. Washington's team play with too much emotion sometimes but they play hard for the man. Broadway was a great coach but I believe he lost to NCCU 3 of the last four years during his tenure.
Joyner's teams won 19 and 20 games respectively, the last couple of years, after the program only won 3 games in 2016. UNC-G was a better basketball team and beat our butt. They have a superior basketball operation and play at the Coliseum. We play in a poorly designed Corbett Gym and don't have the dedicated facilities top tier teams have. They proved they are bonafide by playing a Final Four Caliber Kansas team to a stand still for little over a half on the road. I Love A&T but we got to be excited and realistic about the excellence of our athletics across the board. Firing successful coaches ain't the answer. And who would you get to replace these guys without paying them a helluva lot more and who would want a job where you get fired after winning a championship.

Well guess you can say we aren’t good at getting “revenge”...and here I am THINKING that I was going to see a blowout..smh..I can’t even imagine next season with this same staff and those same plays that we’ve seen since the beginning of the season🤦🏾♂️

Even though we played poorly today, we were in a position to win. That’s good coaching. No need imo to fire a coach because he lost two games to Two teams that outplayed us. Having said that, we need to throw more slants and fewer back shoulder fades and jump balls.

I think most of us are just upset and we have a right to be no way this team should have lost to Morgan State, as far as firing Washington, he has to make some staff changes or he has to go, when Hester left he should have been looking.

Well I for one am not looking forward to this team playing Alcorn again they want revenge and will prolly win the SWAC Alcorn is a passing team and we probably have some of the worst DBs in the conference so it could get real ugly. On top of that, our Offense Coordinator's playbook has just two pages...throw the ball deep to Bell and hand it off to Martin. Alcorn will run up the score on us as payback. We need the Celebration Bowl money but a buttwhipping on national TV could set our program back for years.

If we make it to the CB and lose to Alcorn we will come up with some excuses as to why we lost I guarantee it

This is the only year I am hoping we make it to the playoffs. It's perfect prize for this inconsistent team. If we lose there nobody outside of the stadium will see it and our fans won't care.

Guess the band really does help and pump up the team when they don’t travel we lose, the band was at the SCSU game and I feel like that helped pump the team

Playoffs??!! No. It's CB...or nothing this season. We win out...CB. We lose one more game, we'll have 4 losses. No playoffs for 4-loss MEAC team - not even us.
