I don’t see any reason to call for the coaches job because we lost to this team... had we executed properly we would have been okay But we didnt and this is 2 years in a row. I can understand FAMU. Morgan fired their coach last year for his bad tenure. But they beat us. The new coach has won 1 game before today and has been getting murdered week in and out. There is a problem here Don’t know how to explain last year, but according to the coach at his press conference, we did not have any significant injuries except maybe Wilder. If that’s the case and according to some of the posters ( they called the names of several key players that weren’t playing). Judgement call, where he was feeling comfortable that we could win without them, hindsight shows that this wasn’t a good idea, but purely a coaching decision not bad coaching. Don’t see too much firing coaches with winning records in this league.

Moving forward, I do say the OC has to make some adjustments. Short passes and more of an up tempo offense series to keep the defense guessing.

The defense played good enough to win but the offense didn’t...teams have figured us out, stop the run and our WR are only going to run deep routes. We run the same running play with Martin over and over again and teams have keyed I on it.

There is a chance next week if we beat BCU and NCCU beats SCSU, we get CB bid

We will go to the CB, but the question is do we deserve to represent the MEAC in the CB

Fire Washington, but surrender or concede our basketball legacy to uncg with declarations such as "I'm not upset about that lose". Yet, folks want to get rid of Washington. I admit that was a sorry lose, but the players have to take a lot of that responsibility as well as, the staff. the coach will have to get a good quarterback for next season.

Just not willing to go back and forth with you on our differences or opinions, we can’t agree on this one is how it is.

Some of the onus is on the players and execution, just being a hair off on a throw or a tick late closing in on a receiver.
Hats off to the Morgan State Bears. You have been the better team 2 years in a row.
We need to get back that "refuse to lose" fire we once had.

I’m thinking back to the beginning of the season.
I think Morgan had a fair amount of experience returning. I know I was quite jealous of some of their recruits. They got some highly rated linemen.
Terrible record or not it’s not like they were scared of us. If anything they wanted to prove last year wasn’t a fluke and I believe they did that.
Any talk of firing the coach at this juncture is ridiculous imo. He lost to the same two teams last year. His predecessor had problems with Morgan at times. His guys are graduating and winning for the most part. He’s been blown out exactly ONE time in his coaching tenure. ONCE.
We will be fine.

It's NOT all on coaching! The game is played on the field. Kids were not winning their battles in the trenches, receivers not battling for balls they should have caught, even if underthrown and freaking unnecessary penalties. It this time of the year things like this should not be happening. Yep, I actually see now why we don't throw a lot of deep post routes and slants. We just not good at them and when we do the ball is always in the air to be picked off.
