A&T opens basketball practice Tuesday By Jeff Mills jeff.mills@greensboro.com 3 hrs ago N.C. A&T's Jay Joyner is starting his fourth full season as head coach. Joseph Rodriguez/News & Record GREENSBORO — Basketball practice starts today for the N.C. A&T men’s team, which reinvents itself for the third year in a row. This time last year, the Aggies needed to replace four of their top five scorers from the previous season’s 20-win team. This year, they must replace their top four off last season’s 19-13 MEAC runner-up team. But as a new season begins, there is plenty of optimism around the Aggies based on deep recruiting class and two NCAA Division I transfers. Really excited for basketball this season, I hope we finally return to our dominant basketball roots! Agreed. We all should be very excited about this squad's possibilities. I just got my season ticket notification yesterday. 16 MEAC championships in 48 seasons so far. Time to add #17.

i'm trying to keep my expectations "in check". i'm excited for the start of basketball season not only for our men, but also for our women too. but i'm gonna keep my expectations "in check" just to protect myself from a potential letdown.
looking forward to the season but will cautiously maintain my excitement until i see our product on the floor against good competition...

I just got my season ticket notification yesterday. durham, how much are season tickets? i probably can't make but one or two home games, but if the team is top notch this season i might just purchase season tickets more less as a donation to the basketball program...

They didn't say over the phone from the AAF office, but they have been $180 plus $18 tax fees... so $198. You should definitely get them. It's worth it.

FWIW... the only double MBB/WBB MEAC championship sweep for us was the 1994 season. We have a really good chance to do it again in 2020. I don't think you'll need to dust off your lists.

Athletics called to advise that tickets were available, but failed to advise on the cost. The young lady did say that, if you needed more information, you could call her boss Ms. Pyfrom.
